The Top Hat Restaurant & Bar is lovingly inspired by the famous London Monopoly board and is open to everyone, whether you’re playing the game at Monopoly Lifesized, or just want to enjoy one of our signature cocktails and some delicious food.

We offer favourites like burgers, wings, fish & chips, and Sunday Roasts, all with a hint of gameplay and a special Monopoly twist…

So whether you choose our famous Cash Cow Beef Burger, served with skin-on chips and all the trimmings, or pick one of our vegetarian and vegan specialities, like Raise the Steaks, our cauliflower steak with chilli, coriander, chickpea salsa & coconut yoghurt dressing, you’re sure to be satisfied with our freshly cooked comfort food. Food is good. Service was terrible. After we ate it took forever to take away our plates. The restaurant was not busy and there were enough waiters. But they were all very busy setting up tables and prepare champagne glasses for future guests/groups (I guess from the game room). We waited forever to order dessert. We finally walked up to the bartender who was the only person with an open eye for us. We there made the mistake to not only get the check but also ordering a dessert. After that we waited for almost 30 minutes for the one piece of cheesecake. Unbelievable! And we had an eleven year old with us who was so disappointed from the experience of this one restaurant she really wanted to see. She was too exhausted afterwards to even think about actually signing up to play the game. We left the restaurant with her close to tears because everything took so long and she couldn’t play the monopoly anymore. It was an unpleasant experience for all of us.

Booked here straight after our game of Monopoly. We arrived earlier than our booking but were seated straight away. The atmosphere was so calm and comfortable which made the whole experience enjoyable. Our waitress was so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We ordered the crispy calamari, roast rump of beef, fish and chips and a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted amazing! The only negative id have is that the beef was a little tough and I couldn’t cut through the fat but apart from that, couldn’t fault it. Would definitely return here as there’s other menu items that I would love to try!!

The food was nice but the chips and the vegetarian aubergine cheese bake was very salty Not enough to not eat it but enough to struggle with it The staff are lovely The service good The cocktails lovely and the themed dishes fun !

Chips are amazing however chicken burger wasn’t fillet which was disappointing . Staff are amazing and do friendly and helpful

Food much better than expected. Steak very tasty, bit cold, don’t know how far away the kitchen is and it was already sliced. Chips very nice and a good side salad. They were great for kids with allergies - it’s a nut free restaurant. Kids meals - decent size. Service very good although not immediately greeted when we came in which is why I gave a 4 not 5. Games for the kids to play (or adults) which were clean ( not always the case in places). Good value for London, would recommend and would visit again if someone else wanted in my party wanted to go.

Good novelty experience. Food was okay except starters came out frozen, this was very quickly fixed and apologied for. Female server was lovely and very good! Didn’t get her name sadly. Would say it is a little expensive for what it is. Took a long time to be served and get the bill.

Great service. The food was Ok - overpriced and not very hot. Decor was nice but not as Monopoly themed as I would have liked and it was cold by the front door.

I never write reviews but we were so impressed that I had to review this place. Fabulous venue. Great food and brilliant service. Harriet was amazing and really made us feel special. Our children both loved it and we taught them how to lay Yahtzee while we were waiting. We can’t wait to return and play the life-sized monopoly next time. Wound highly recommend
