Welcome to Verandah Restaurant & Bar at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. Signature dishes include the InterContinental Club Sandwich, the vegan Earth Burger, and our Mooloolaba Prawn & Mussel Fettuccine.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch with visiting relatives. Our waitress Veronica was friendly and attentive, and she provided recommendations from the menu. The service and quality of food were all very good. We look forward to dining here again.

Very average meal. I wanted a healthy option so ordered the salmon, however, the whole meal contained so much butter I couldn't eat it. My partner had the mussel and prawn fettucine which was oily and again average. We have had the mezze, burgers and other menu items which we enjoyed - just not these options.

Very slow service, it took 45 minutes from order to food delivery, and this was Wednesday lunch. Whilst food was ok for the price paid it should have been a lot better. Overall, we won't likely come back here for lunch service.

Thanks so much once again for a lovely afternoon and lunch was very well presented. Staff just so obliging and nothing was trouble for her .. This is the third time I have taken people along and they are all coming back ..

The staff were outstanding and so extremely friendly. We had our 2 teenage children with us and they were made to feel very at ease and comfortable. It was a pleasure to dine at The Verandah Bar.

The Beer Battered Queensland Barramundi was delicious & the view of the Lagoon perfectly topped off the night!

The wine arrived on time, but our food seemed to take forever despite it being simple dishes. There was no atmosphere to the room, no music and nothing much to look at. The staff were friendly and seemingly efficient. Afterwards in the bar the atmosphere improved. Nothing special though. Just an ok meal and drink in an ok bar and reataurant.

Perfect for our special occasion. The venue is beautiful and we all felt very comfortable and were there for the whole afternoon. I would definately recommend this restaurant for an intimate or private special occasion. The only thing that bothered me was the flies inside the windows on the verandah, where our table was. Also one table near us was not cleared at all the whole time we were there. But I liked that the staff were not bothering us at all.

Over all not great we were seated and told to be quick to order as kitchen staff wanted to close kitchen. 45 minutes to get our first and only drinks we had finish starters and asked 3 times before they came. Some of food good but some properly cold ( Steak) but by then we had given up so didn't send it back.

Table was not ready on time even though we had a reservation, food took 2 1/2 hours to arrive was cold and pasta appeared to be re-cooked as it was broken into pieces. Guest who came in without a reservation and demanded a table was seated right away and received their meal within 20 minutes of ordering, leaving myself and other patrons, shocked and confused as to what was going on with the Service! Way over priced for the quality of meal…would not recommend
