    In celebration of New Year's Eve, The Village Pub will be offering a luxurious multi-course dinner for $250. When booking your reservation, you will be charged a deposit of $150 (+tax) per person. This reservation fee will be applied to the final bill upon completion of your meal. For a full refund of your reservation fee, we require a minimum of 7 days advance notice for cancellations or adjustments to your reservation. Cancellation of your reservation within 7 days, including reducing the number of guests in your party, relinquishes your prepaid menu fee. Should you no longer be able to make your reservation, you are welcome to transfer it to someone else, as you would tickets to a concert, the theater, or sports match.

    We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience, with both the food and service exceeding our expectations. The flavors were beautifully balanced and incredibly delicious. The wine pairing we requested was spot-on, showcasing the staff’s expertise and attention to detail. A special highlight was the thoughtful provision of a dedicated vegetarian menu for my wife, demonstrating their commitment to accommodating all dietary preferences equally and ensuring everyone feels valued. While there was a slight challenge with an unpleasant odor upon entering the main room, it eventually became less noticeable, probably because we got use to the smell eventually. This minor issue did overshadow the overall excellence of our visit. We look forward to returning and will likely opt for outdoor seating to fully enjoy the ambiance. Highly recommend for an exceptional culinary experience!

    Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Wearing black pants. Should offer black napkins. Waiter nice but not super attentive. Felt like they wanted to get us served and out of there.

    The Pub has never lost its magic over all these years. It's the perfect combination of elegance, world-class cuisine and wine - paired with warmth, smiles, kindness and professionalism. Now THAT is a tough combination to achieve. The Pub hits it out of the park every time. I've dined there a million times and I still get excited to go each and every time.

    Okay - this review is entirely in the context of the price and the Michelin star so please keep that in mind. We have been to the Village Pub several times over the years (before and after they received their star) and our most recent visit which was on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 was unfortunately well below our expectations. A huge positive was that I messed up the reservations and requested a table for two instead of three and they accommodated us right away which was great. From there things were below expectation. Our interactions with our waitress were very positive and cordial; however, in previous visits we had a much more engaging experience. For instance, it's a fixed course menu; however, we typically get an education of the menu firs. We were not counseled on the menu nor was there any kind of interaction with our table except "what would you like". If this restaurant was 1/4 of the price and didn't have the star (which comes with expectations) this perfectly civil interaction would be okay but it did not make us feel special at all. When our appetizers came out we had a few additional issues. 1) In the past we always had synchronized service (all the food comes out at once, they explain the dishes to us, etc.) but on this occasion we got the food approximately at the same time it was not the service we expected 2) They mixed up our plating and gave my wife my appetizer and her mine. Again, absolutely not a big deal but for this price and the Michelin Star, it was well below our expectation. 3) The waitress was watching our table and no doubt noticed that my wife and I switched our plates but did not say or mention anything to us about it. The rest of the experience was perfectly fine and the food was good. However, the food and the experience simply do not justify the price. In my previous visits, I would have said the service and experience of dinning here was well worth the price but unfortunately that was not the case on 11/24/2024.

    We love the Village Pub. We are loyal guests coming for 15 years. And though we moved away, we make sure we have dinner here whenever we get back to the bay. Dinner and service last night was top notch again. The duck was phenomenal and so was the truffle stuffed chicken. Followed by the always delicious chocolate soufflé and the beignets. Can’t wait to come back
