We visited The Wednesday Room as a group of 6 for lunch. Four of us ordered eight appetizers to share (including popcorn, chips and dip, burrata, crispy pork belly, spicy tuna, charred broccoli Caesar, fried chicken), thinking it would be enough for a light but satisfying meal. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were extremely small, and none of us left feeling full — even though 3/4 of us are not big eaters. One particularly underwhelming dish was the burrata (pictured). At $28.75, we expected something substantial, especially given how it’s served at comparable restaurants. Instead, we got what looked like a quarter of a burrata, thinly sliced. Definitely not shareable, and definitely not worth the price. By the end, after a few cocktails each and what we hoped would be enough food, the bill came to $581 — including an automatic 20% gratuity. At least half of that was food, and it simply didn’t deliver. For the cost, the portions and overall value were disappointing. The ambiance and drinks were fine, but we wouldn’t return for the food. Update after reply from the restaurant: I'm disappointed—but not surprised—by the rude and dismissive response from the restaurant's management. Rather than addressing my concerns with professionalism or courtesy, their reply made it clear that they're more interested in defending their public image than providing genuine customer service. To clarify and back up my original review, I’ve added a photo of the bill so that anyone reading this can see exactly what was ordered. Regarding the burrata, I absolutely stand by what I wrote, and I’ve also included a photo so people can judge for themselves. As for their comment about how much we spent on food: the total before tip on just food was $243.75. As I mentioned in my original review, that means more than half the bill was for food. Their attempt to deflect by misrepresenting this only further highlights the unprofessionalism of the management.

One member of the party had celiac disease. The server assured that the meal was gluten free. Unfortunately they suffered a gluten reaction after the meal. The members that did not have dietary restrictions had a lovely meal.

Came here for my best friends birthday for some cocktails and an Appy. It was amazing, the AGM Tat even got us complimentary champagne to toast her bday, and was so inviting and welcoming! I had the ruby red cocktail and if you love whiskey it’s the best! Thank you for a beautiful evening!

The food was delicious and cooked with precision. My steak came with a Bernaise sauce, and you don't see these types of French sauces on menus much anymore, which is a shame. This one was very well done. I'd love to know how the potatoes were done in such thin layers. Innovative. Overall, very well done.

Had a hard stop at 7 which didn’t get honoured. Gabby (training) and Adrian dropped the ball. Almost late for theater.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We were able to sit in the rumpus room, which was such a fun experience. It reminded me of a friend's basement that I used to hang out at back in the 70's. The cocktails were so good, the food was delectable and our server Charles was fantastic! Overall a really great time and so looking forward to going back.

Such a great atmosphere at the Wednesday Room, the nicest basement you'll ever eat in! I recommend the prosciutto and potato rosti, and the risotto carbonara, but everything we tried on the menu was delicious! They have a really fun cocktail menu as well, and the staff were all polite and friendly!
