    A wonderful buzzy atmosphere on a Friday night when we got the last table. The staff are really friendly and the service is unstuffy. The pub was so lively. Lots of happy people, lots of happy dogs too! A great place and the food was pretty good too!

    Sunday lunch at the wheatsheaf never disappoints & it’s always very busy so you need to book! Best roast out ever!!

    Trying too hard with the Main Menu. Its a very nice pub and would benefit from a simple healthy well cooked menu

    This has got to be one of the best places for a Sunday Roast, we have been the last two Sundays and the food has been exceptional.

    Friendly staff, keen to help, food was excellent. Ambience is busy country gastro pub, but great to see lots of locals there too. We’ll be going back.

    Really nice pub with a good choice of food on the menu. The staff was friendly and it has a relaxed atmosphere. We would come back.

    Worth the visit for the Tiger Bread and Marmite Butter alone but the Roast Chicken and Fish and Chips also excellent. Service also excellent.

    Superb Sunday lunch! The food was excellent, staff very friendly and the pub had a really lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it, and possibly the best Sunday lunch out I’ve ever had
