Third and Main is a top-of-the-line steak house and tavern in historic Aurora, IN. From in house dry aging our steaks to carrying the largest selection of wagyu beef in the Midwest, we have it all. If steak isn't your favorite we also have a fresh seafood selection weekly with a full sushi and raw bar.

Located in one of the oldest operating taverns in Indiana, Third and Main carries on the historic traditions with an upscale menu in a casual atmosphere. Just a short drive from Cincinnati along the Ohio River, this family-owned and operated restaurant is a great place to get away from the bustle of city living.

Our 120 year old bar is fully-stocked with over 275 different bourbons, domestic, import and craft beers and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Stop in and have a seat at our 120 year old bar to see why Third and Main is a local Tri-State favorite.

Our group of 8 celebrated a birthday in their Remus room and it was a great experience. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Definitely returning!

We were seated right away we were welcomed by staff. Our server explained dinner specials took our drink orders timely manner. The food was awesome cooked to our order. At the end of the meal I told our waitress that we had a memorable meal and she did an excellent job. She thanked us and told us she enjoys her job. We could tell she did a fantastic job. Highly recommend Third and Main for a great dining experience.

Ifyou’re looking for a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression, 3rd and Main is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, attentive service that sets the tone for the entire meal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making your experience exceptional. The appetizers were tremendous—each bite perfectly crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or hearty, their starters will leave you craving more. As for the main course, “delectable” doesn’t even do it justice. The dishes are a perfect balance of presentation, taste, and creativity. Every element on the plate feels intentional, showcasing a depth of flavor that only a top-tier kitchen can deliver. And then there’s the dessert—truly amazing. It’s the kind of sweet ending that makes you pause and savor every bite, knowing you’ve just indulged in something special. 3rd and Main easily secures a spot in my top 5 favorite restaurants. From start to finish, the meal was flawless. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this is a place that guarantees an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dinner catching up with friends over wonderful food. Our server was helpful and attentive and our adults only dinner was wonderful!!

Amazing experience! Not our first time, but it’s been awhile. Eve better than the last time. The sushi, wagu steak and Heaven pasta were 10/10. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing food. Everything we got was delicious. The Pasta from heaven is life changing. The Australian Wagyu is about the best steak money can buy.

The food was absolutely fantastic, classic steakhouse items with a bit of flare. The gnocchi, bread service, and pasta were delicious and I had a yummy mocktail. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable as well. We will definitely be back.
