Our menus blend classic British cooking with influences and tastes from Europe and around the world. Guests can select from a broad range of dishes, from ever-popular classics and delicious Sunday roasts.

With new additions to our menus being added to reflect the seasonal nature of local produce, you're guaranteed to find a great tasting dish upon every visit.

Steeped in over 400 years of history, our grade two-listed building offers a unique and delightful setting in which to relax over an award-winning ale, a great tasting meal or a glass of fine wine.

Monday and Tuesday evenings are our Tapas and Pizza nights - relaxed and informal supper evenings where you can share (if you choose to!) a selection of Tapas or Pizza

Dined here this evening and ordered the pie, after being told it was steak and ale pie. It was steak and kidney. Which was unpleasant as I don’t like kidney at all. The restaurant was absolutely freezing with the couple behind us being asked to move to try to get some heat from a radiator which then we discovered it wasn’t actually on. I had a goose down coat on the entire time I ate, the other poor girl who moved was buried in layers and even kept her scarf on. We asked for orange juice for my daughter and were given some vile bitter concoction of mandarin and apple juice, which was truly horrid and bitter, without being asked if that was okay. After asking for the bill we left the full amount in cash within the holder provided, and left the change because it was so cold. We headed to the car and were chased down by a member of staff who accused us of not paying for the food. I have never been so insulted as to be accused of stealing in public. I have been here regularly in the past and will not be returning.

We came for a roast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The place had a great atmosphere too.

We ‘ve always had a sensational lunch or dinner here , the Steak & Ale pie was exceptional today. Staff always engaging & attentive , I highly recommend.

At 3pm there was no roast beef left- only halfway through their food service. The lack of beef was not communicated until we were ordering. The waitress had a really poor attitude. Drinks order not taken. In the end we left without eating

Lovely pub set in gorgeous countryside. Food was DELICIOUS and the staff were all very attentive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely family Sunday lunch - we will be back!

It was our first time here and we will definitely be returning. The food was really delicious and the young woman serving us was fantastic. I even told the manager so! It has a great atmosphere too.

Having known the Lickfold Inn for over forty years, in its various guises we travelled over thirty miles to have lunch there under the new regime (and name).Lovely building,characterful bar and well kept beer. The food was OK,but our gripe was with the service.We sat gazing at our main course plates for twenty minutes after finishing,before they were cleared . We didn't have the will to wait for pudding.

The ambience was delightful, very welcoming. We were shown to our table immediately and were so well looked after throughout the evening. The food is excellent, well presented and reasonably priced. There is something on the menu for everyone.
