   Food was good overall. Fish was overcooked and dry. Service was mediocre.

   Yes, the portions are small and can be pricey, and if you want to gorge yourself in food then this is not the place for you. However, for those wanting to try something different and elevate your senses from the typical Mexican food affair, please give it a try. Everything we ordered was as good as it looked, however, I'll pass on the asparagus (too salty). A lot of dishes contain manchego cheese but it works, including the flan! Typically if I consume too much dairy, I have phlegm (sorry TMI) but I did not get this residual effect after dining, must be quality here. Great service, our water was constantly filled and they wiped our table after each course with a sanitizing wipe, much appreciated! Restaurant is located inside the Grand Hyatt, and since it was spring break season, the hotel was swarming with kids, however, it didn't ruin our dining experience. Nice patio space with heaters and a beautiful interior space. Just note, the restaurant doesn't have their own restroom, it's shared with Hyatt. Pretty extensive wine list and we thoroughly enjoyed our bottle of red.

   Our experience and time at Tia Carmen was amazing. Always a great place to take our friends that are out of town and are foodies every time we finish a wonderful dinner at Tia Carmen we can’t wait to go back. Thank You!

   The food was amazing! So flavorful - literally every dish was better than the next. We had the Fluke and Tuna appetizers, followed by the fish of the day (halibut), Elote and the grilled cabbage. We were stuffed. And Kevin, our waiter, was outstanding, recommended a Sancerre to enjoy with all of this. We’re going back soon!

   Food is mediocre and overpriced. Place is also pretentious. Go somewhere else if you can.

   This place is a MUST!! Every bite is packed with flavor bomb it was an extraordinarily meal. I highly highly recommend it! We had the tuna crudo melted in your mouth and the octopus could cut with a butter knife with a black bean reduction amazing!!! So I went to a wine and food tasting and had 1 bite of their fluke and banana…… And it sold me on going there so I booked the following weekend and it did not disappoint Not to mention their deserts are amazing We had the flan Manchago and Black Forest cake and I’m not a chocolate lover but this cake was to die for!!! Not to mention the server was amazing and all the servers serving the food to our table explained every plate!! The manager Pierre came over also to make sure everything was to our liking Even the chef Daniel came out to check to make sure every bite we loved!! Just a fabulous experience from start to finish you will NOT be disappointed Enjoy!!

   Tia Carmen offers a truly memorable dining experience. The food was delicious and brought back nostalgic memories, with each dish crafted to perfection. Miguel’s service was outstanding, and Paola’s passion when describing the dishes was evident. Chef Angelo was gracious and made the entire experience feel special. Our family will always remember this wonderful meal! Highly recommend.

   An unexpectedly wonderful dining experience at Grand Hyatt resort in Indian Wells. Just off a busy lobby is an astonishingly good restaurant. The salads were spectacular and memorable, something we don’t often encounter. The experience of the chef shows and the menu aims more toward Michelin than resort restaurant. That said, a more traditional chicken entree would be a welcome addition (versus a stew offering in the 90 degree heat of the day).

    Had dinner here and it was absolutely amazing!! The service, the food, the atmosphere all top notch! Our server, Miguel, hands down best server I’ve ever had. He made our dinner worthwhile. It was truly an amazing experience. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re staying in Indian Wells!
