In 2005 four longtime college friends opened Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, giving their guests a unique taqueria with service rooted in genuine hospitality. Tin Lizzy’s quickly became a popular place to work and to meet friends for refreshing margaritas and delicious FlexMex cuisine. Soon after, other neighborhoods wanted their own Tin Lizzy’s. We are excited to bring our passion for hospitality and “friends serving friends” mission to new neighborhoods.

We were on a business trip to Atlanta staying downtown by the Mercedes Benz stadium. There is not much happening by the Mercedes Benz stadium on a Sunday. Downtown looked like a ghost town and then we were dropped off at Tin Lizzy. We ordered guacamole which was handmade and excellent. The chips were crispy and not at all greasy with a spice sprinkled on them that was delicious. The fried jalapenos with two ranch dipping sauces were amazing, crisp and hot. the taco salad was good and so was my steak quesadilla. The moscow mule was excellent and the margaritas were good too. Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and super nice. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Our server Clay only came twice. To get our orders and give us our drinks/food. Never checked up on us after that. We came extremely early indicating that there was literally nobody else. Yet we were still forgotten. Portions were kind of small for the amount you had to pay.

The guacamole is fresh and delicious- all the food was great. service was prompt but not pressured. Absolutely pleasant dining experience.

The food is average the server was very nice. The ambience is average and they really need to clean it up a little bit better.

I dined here with a large group . Although our server was initially attentive (when only three were present), as more people started to join our party, Zoey/Zoe the server started to lag with her attentiveness. Once the table was finally able to place appetizers and drink orders, it still took forever for the drinks to arrive. I understand we were a large party but the restaurant was empty; we were practically the only group there. We watched TinLizzy team members colluded at the hostess stand and even take their breaks outside the front door, yet still, our drinks didn’t come to us in a timely manner. We even got up from the table in search of someone to provide us with an update. Once all the food and drinks did finally arrive we did end up enjoying ourselves. But once it was time to pay, things weren’t put in the system accordingly so we had to again play the game of ‘where’s our server’ with hopes to get it straightened out. Eventually we gave up and just separated the tab amongst ourselves but we questioned the purpose of that system if it wasn’t going to be used in that capacity for customers’ ease. Not sure we’ll dine here again. It would take some convincing.
