Hidden in the Heart of the City – tucked away in a Melbourne laneway right next to our older and famous sibling, Beneath Driver Lane, Baby Driver is a vibrant fusion of 70s jazz and funk spinning on vinyl, local & international wine, crafted cocktails and amazing bar snacks. A sanctuary for those who appreciate good music, good drinks, and great company.

Baby Driver is the perfect venue to sit back, relax and watch the world go bye. Amazing dishes such as seared tuna skewer, nduja toast or for something larger our pork cutlet paired with incredible wine and cocktails. With our central location join us to start, the event or to finish for a late tipple.

    In partnership with our other venue Beneath Driver Lane located just next door downstairs, this experience gives you a perfect start to the evening with a $65 "Feed me" menu in Torino, followed by guaranteed seats in Beneath Driver Lane for their live blues music. If you've visited BDL before you would know its virtually impossible to walk in and get a seat - so this option keeps you in the family and its our personal way of appreciating your patronage. Please note bookings for up to 10 people and all guests must participate in the Feed Me menu. **Please also advise, Live Blues starts at 9 pm on Thursdays and at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays

    the chef didn't show up to work, we had been planning dinner here so would've liked to know ahead of time so we could book elsewhere for dinner. Drinks were good as was the atmosphere!

    Warm reception when entering, they explained the menu and recommended a few cocktails. We were checked on and drinks were offered and I have to say I accepted everyone. Its was a good night for our first night in Melbourne and the tapas were just what we wanted after travelling. It was a bit cold in the restaurant but we are from Queensland and a few cocktail in the cold disappeared. Would recommend

    Really cool vibe, perfect after work venue. Drinks and food were great - loved happy hour. Service was really attentive and knowledgeable! Def recommend

    Booked for a table and was placed at the bar. It would have been fine if ld been told at the time of booking. It limited us and we couldn’t really eat. Apart from that, service was great & good vibe.

    Torino is a great place to have some pre food and cocktails before heading out for some drinks or to a show etc. The vibe is warm & cosy. The food is delicious and the cocktails are so good. Would definitely recommend. This is my second time going and won’t be my last.
