Terra restaurant is located at Tottington Manor which is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our South Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. To allow Afternoon Teas to be freshly prepared we require bookings to be made 48 hours in advance. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, savoury items and sweet treats coupled with your choice of coffees or our range of Hoogly Tea in the delightful surroundings of Tottington Manor. Enjoy the spectacular views in Summer or the roaring open fire in winter, afternoon tea is a delightful occasion at any time of year. A debit/credit card is required at the point of booking, Because Afternoon Teas are created fresh for each order any cancellations within 48hrs the full charge may be taken against the stored card.

Lovely dinner at Terra for our Anniversary, great menu where we could have picked almost anything on it. We had cheese soufflé and mussels to start while expecting the soufflé to be the best choice turns out the sauce for the mussels was probably the best either of us have ever had. Lamb and pork for mains were excellent and really interesting take on them. unfortunately no space for deserts despite how good they sounded. Next time we’ll forego the very nice bread and olives in an attempt to save room. We liked it so much we’ve already booked their Burns night !

We enjoyed eating by the fire - a nice cosy atmosphere where our dog was also welcome. Delicious food and great service.

Absolutely fantastic, food was just the right level of fine dining to be acceptable to all. Local ingredients a real positive and the service was excellent !

The waiter service was lovely and the ambiance was relaxing and quiet (we went at lunchtime) with a wonderful setting. The menu had lots of appealing dishes and most of our food was very nice.

We chose to come to Terra based on the excellent reviews and appealing menu and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and interesting. The ambience calm and inviting. And the staff were superb. Warm, welcoming, professional and nothing was too much trouble. There was definite food envy watching some other dishes come out, and we will be back to try them.

Second visit to the restaurant. Just as good as the first. Very tasty food delightful staff. Have booked for December.

Lovely welcome/venue, delicious food, so much choice so difficult to choose, but we started with bread & delicious butters, I had the venison wellington which was outstanding and my husband had the tempura hake which he also enjoyed. Big portions, so I could only manage a mini pud and coffee. Highly recommend this stylish restaurant, so much so we have booked again for Sunday roast 👍
