Terra restaurant is located at Tottington Manor which is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our South Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. An excellent restaurant and a delicious afternoon tea. I was particularly impressed by the accommodating of various intolerances and an adapted menu. The staff were welcoming and attentive. A lovely afternoon.

We popped in for a Sunday roast dinner, I had the nut roast which was absolutely delicious, everything on the plate was incredibly tasty, the team were very friendly and will certainly be back. We had Christmas dinner at Tottington and did wonder what it would be like on an ordinary day, must say they most certainly didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, wonderful service, and absolutely wonderful views of the South Downs

Poor service as main focus seemed to be on private function witch was taking place food cold long delay between starters and mains as we where told busy kitchen with private function if they are unable to deal with function and restaurant they should not take the bookings whole lunch with friends dampened by poor service

It was a great Burns Night. It was all perfect from the welcome to the end. Great atmosphere, delicious food, good service & the piper was brilliant. Loved the menu choices for this event & a very good price. I hope you do it again next year.

Another fabulous lunch at Tottington Manor. We received a warm welcome from the front of house team and were shown straight to our table where we were introduced to Eve who looked after us from there on in. The menu gave us food for thought (excuse the pun) as all the choices sounded delicious. I opted for the beets and goats cheese which was light and not too filling before my main of a lamb burger with chunky chips. The burger was absolutely amazing, homemade and topped with fried halloumi and then two slices of roast lamb, all served in a brioche bun! My fellow diners all had a roast dinner (2 of them chose the sharing board which had 3 meats and they said all were cooked to perfection) and they all said how good the food was. We were helped with our wine selection by Eve who has a very good knowledge of the wines available and we opted for a Merlot, a Malbec and a pinot grigio blush all of which were excellent. We all had a dessert, my cheeseboard was fabulous and I especially enjoyed the honey that was served with it, an unusual accompaniment but perfect with all 4 of the cheeses. The restaurant was very busy but not at all noisy and the service was prompt without feeling you were being rushed in any way. Whilst it’s not a cheap meal out considering we all had 3 courses, 3 bottles of wine and after dinner liqueurs it was excellent value for money! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Terra restaurant and Tottington Manor.

We have just had a lovely Sunday Lunch. the beef was tender and the gravy was tasty. It was made all the better by the efficient, cheerful and helpful staff. Back again for another lunch next month
