Inspired by pioneer history and located on the National Road, Trace Chophouse pays homage to trailblazers journeying west. The restaurant features a rustic yet luxurious dining room with fireplaces, historic hearth made from the Zane family's 18th-century home logs, and a focus on local history. Excellent food and service. Very pricy. It was a fixed price four course menu for Thanksgiving. Every course was good with an excellent presentation. The prices for both alcohol and the food were the highest I've ever paid, including major cities.

Excellent bar service. Impeccably clean environment. Quiet, serene and pleasant, especially on Thanksgiving Day evening. Food was superb and the staff were all friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic dining experience at Trace Chophouse last night. Service was prompt, professional & friendly. Pace was laid back and not rushed. Food was delicious! Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Food was amazing. Drinks were great. Blair our waiter was wonderful. Couldn’t have had a better time celebrating our anniversary

The food was great, as was the service. The Dining room was almost like a cave. I expected a nice view of the outside and/or lake , but there is none. Our table was by the kitchen entrance and very busy and disruptive. A table should not be located there. The prices were high, but we knew that ahead of time. For the overall experience ,I would not rate it very high. I will not go back.

As soon as we walked in the door, it was an amazing experience. Staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The intimate, small atmosphere was quiet and cozy. For how busy it can get outside the chophouse door, you couldn’t hear any of it. Food was great and I had some flavors I don’t think I’ve ever even tasted before. The only thing that was a huge bummer was that after we hung out for a while finishing dessert, they forgot to bring out our leftovers after packing them up. We forgot about them too until we were almost home. I will absolutely go back, but I’ll have to make sure we get the leftovers especially how expensive it is.

My husband and I celebrated our 26 Anniversary and the staff was so kind! The ambiance made our celebration even more special, felt like it was very private. And the food…. The food was amazing
