A name that pays tribute to a close friendship between Tom & Stephen Tracey- "Tracey's" focuses on refined presentation of eclectic fare. Our culinary team is lead by Food & Beverage Director Chef Jason Biega and Chef de Cuisine Ali Adamczyk. Our kitchen staff focuses on each and every dish that leaves our kitchen, dressed to impress both visually and in flavor and proportion. Our service team is lead by Ana Dolaskie- an expert in service delivery. Ownership remains involved daily, and promotions between Roam Inn and Tracey's (within Roam Inn) are offered regularly to make for an incredible stay in the Munising area. Tracey's and Roam Inn are locally owned and operated.

Everything we had was very good. For an appetizer my husband and I split the loaded fingerling potatoes. He got the whitefish chowder. I tried his and ate the rest of it and I don’t even like fish. We also shared the surf & turf and it was excellent and just enough. Again there was a fish on there and I even enjoyed that as well. Our drinks were even great. I got unsweetened tea and my husband got 2 glasses of Merlot. Lastly, we got the creme brûlée and it was good. The inside of the restaurant is very nice. It makes up the first floor of a hotel and the restroom was lovely.

The Roam in is lovely. Its the place to stay in Munising for a ladies getaway. Tracey’s has a good ambiance. The food was vey good. The wine list needs more variety. Then Our server was the only experienced server that evening. She was juggling multiple tables. Whereas the other younger and inexperienced server would go hide in the kitchen. She ignored requests for help from clients. Several tables asked to speak with a manager. It seemed there was none. Their summer business is only going to pick up the pace. It seems staff should be retrained.

You're correct-- we do have some new team members in training, and given the lack of dining options in our community on Mondays, we decided to extend our services. We have been trying to get in to Tracey's for at least 4 years for the acclaimed trout dinner, finally able to make reservations for our 29th Anniversary to sadly see that it is no longer on the menu but honestly, the menu now does not disappoint. We had the Surf N Turf meal for two and it was amazing. We made reservations for the following night for dinner, it was so good. The staff is friendly and attentive. You won't ever be disappointed. Pricey but every bite is worth the money, excellent food.

We have dined here a few times prior to this visit thus the reason for our return. In fact I have a menu from when you first opened. We knew the food was quality. The best you pretty much can get in this part of the UP. However the service was marginal and disappointing. When you are paying $200 for a dinner out you’d expect a little more attention and why ask if celebrating a special occasion. There was no recognition of it, say a complimentary cocktail or dessert. It was our anniversary We had the surf and turf ($95) and was excellent although a bit pricey for the amount you get. Our waitress handed us the check without asking if there is anything else she could get for us or if interested in dessert. I appreciated the chef coming out and asking us how dinner was. She definitely has the culinary touch. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself here.

Really delicious food. Service fantastic with Katelyn as our server. The white fish chowder was ridiculously scrumptious. Totally recommend.
