NYE at Trata was a disappointment. For starters, we were told on calling in advance it was “formal attire” and men should wear suit/tie, and no one else was wearing! We were incredibly rushed from the second we sat down with waiter repeatedly telling us we only had 90 min seating and to quickly order, before we barely had time to say hi to friends, hadn’t yet gotten drinks, and waiter hovering throughout meal to be sure we were moving along. How can one be expected to have an enjoyable 3 course meal with drinks in 90 min?! Granted it was a busy night on NYE but the entire experience felt frantically rushed when we were hoping to catch up with out of town friends. Food was good but the unfortunate rushed experience cost $500.

Restaurant Name: Trata Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Trata, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of cozy and upscale vibes. The service was impeccable—our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering a breeze. Now, the food! Every dish was a masterpiece. We started with the feta sticks and mini crabs. which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, I had the pasta carbonara and lamb shanks and it was cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of seasonings and fresh ingredients. And let’s not forget dessert! The baklava was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. It’s clear that the team at Trata takes great pride in every detail, from the presentation to the flavors. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend Trata for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

My friends and I had an amazing server named Daniel. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. When a minor emergency happened (bloody nose), Daniel jumped right in and helped me to the closest bathroom. The night was an amazing experience and we will be back again!

Finally a winner! We've been to several restaurants at this location, and most just so-so. Trata looks like (finally!) a winner. They have transformed the large space with lovely Greek decor, and we are anxious to return in warm weather to enjoy their beautiful outdoor (but protected with a roof) space overlooking the Hudson. We shared a selection of apps & delicious fish with friends, all very good. I think the price on our shared fagri was a bit steep, but otherwise excellent meal. Ouro waiter Daniel was very helpful in suggesting both apps to share, and helping my friend with her wine selection. We were seated in the first room with the bar, and noise level was higher than we'd like, but suspect if we'd asked for one of the other two rooms, it would have been perfect. Surprised to hear they have been open only 8 weeks. Very busy on Mon before new years, so go while it's still easy to snag a reservation!

Ambiance is beautiful, food was also delicious. We did mainly apps to share. Zucchini chips, tuna tartare, Brussels sprouts were delicious. Daniel was a great waiter!

The restaurant is very beautiful, love that their is valet service. The service was very good, we had the red snapper, and chicken. We tried many different appetizers and all were delicious. Thank you

Food was very good. Drinks expensive. Entertainment was very good. For me the check was expensive. Not someplace I'll come back to soon.
