Produced by Franco, the show goes on the last Sunday of each month, always with different artists, comprised of sopranos and tenors from the Kennedy Center. Had a subpar experience here tonight. Had our order wrong multiple times and service lasted more than 2 hours which was challenging for a family of 4 with 2 kiddos on Christmas Eve. Price was exorbitant for a poor dining experience. Will not return.

My husband and I went on Christmas Eve and were excited to try the gnocchi bolognese however, to our surprise we were unable to order as it was only a prix fixe menu that was being offered. Nowhere on the website or during our booking process on open table did it mention this. Would be nice for the customer to know what they were getting into before making a reservation. The waitstaff was poor and inattentive. Our reservation was for 5pm, at that point the staff should not have been spread so thin as there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant at that time. We attempted to order a second glass of wine however, could not get a server to our table to take our order. It was particularly interesting that a table of 8 who sat after us were served a second round of drinks before the waiter even came back to our table to take our order for a second glass of wine (our wine glasses were empty for some time). My steak was overcooked, I ordered medium rare and it came prepared well done. When the waiter finally came around to our table it had been at least 20 minutes since the food had been delivered. I was not offered an alternate steak (I had only eaten 1/3 of it - I'm not someone to eat a whole dish and then complain about it) and was also not offered to have it taken off the check. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Excellent, fun, intimate and excellent! Seafood medley (shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams) over linguine w/ pink marinara sauce was spectacular. Great dessert and coffee(chocolate). Service was great.

Accommodated a party of 17, on the second floor, on a Friday evening in December. Food was delicious, servers were great, and prices were excellent. One more server would have been optimal, but everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks. We'd definitely return.

Our dining experience was memorable for all the right reasons. The ambiance (fireplace, soothing music, and no background noise); the attentive service; and delicious food and wine were all noteworthy. It is perfect for those attending the Alexandria Little Theater two blocks away. Very special evening.

This was our first time visiting, and the service was a bit of a rollercoaster. After placing our order and getting our starters, the waiter came over to chat about the specials, even though we had already ordered. The seconds took forever to arrive, and the bar orders took even longer. Oh, and dessert tiramisu wasn’t available, and the after-dinner drink was forgotten until we reminded the wait staff about it…we were there for early dinner. The waiter said they were having trouble with the computer system, so we decided to give them another chance. The food was good, but mine was a bit lukewarm when it came to the table.

Still a lovely Italian restaurant with great service (thank you Guillermo). It can be quite energetic on the weekends. Try the lasagna and their specials. Everything we have tried so far has been wonderful. We’ll be back.

I love that this restaurant feels different than the trendy places in the area. It is a classic restaurant - with tablecloths and S&P on the table. Experienced, thoughtful waitstaff and the ambiance made a delicious meal even more special. We ordered both of the specials which were excellent. The garlic bread - also a unique and delicious side is a great order to sop up the leftover sauce that comes with the meal. Hope to be back.
