Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line. 

The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. We look forward to serving and welcoming Torre Restaurant Group to the Mansfield Community.

We went to Trattoria Romana for Valentine's Day and this restaurant is always outstanding, the food, service and wine selections are outstanding, and the prices are reasonable.

We went to the resturant day after Valentine's day was very busy and our reservation was at 5;15 but we were seated right away never felt rushed. Our waitress Chloe was excellent so pleasant very attentive even with all her tables. There was no parking , but they actually had a van thst you followed and then was brought back and forth to your car very nice especially was snowing . Everything was delicious and hot even with the amount of patrons. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were to die for. Mary Ann P

Celebrating my husbands 78th birthday with family and friends. Our waitress Chloe was exceptional. The food was awesome never disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We want for pizza, salad and amazing desserts after my daughter's basketball game. Everything tasted perfectly. The only thing that was a little strange and why I didn't give it a 5 for the service was the food runner put our pizza in an odd place so that we couldn't actually eat if we didn't rearrange the table. Also when we asked for plates she gave us tiny bread plates that weren't going to fit a slice of pizza. Our regular waitress hooked us up so all was fine, but it was just a little strange. I think the runner was in too much of a hurry for some reason, but the restaurant was pretty empty... my advice would be to slow down and think about your guests.

It was a bit of a downer that both pizza ovens weren't working. That being said, the service was excellent, and I enjoyed my Veal Marsala. There are plenty of dessert choices from Montillio's, although more description of them on the menu would have helped. I look forward to the opportunity to try the pizza next time.
