True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. We a little baby with us and it took over 20 minutes for someone to come by our table. Our waitress only came by once to ask for water refills. It was not a good experience at all

This place has been steadily declining over the last year. The prices are very high, and the portions are shrinking. I ordered the salmon dinner for $29. The piece of salmon was tiny! It looked like it was about 3 ounces, and it was also dry and fishy. It came with 6 steamed sugar snap peas, and I subbed out a salad for the rice. The other people at my table got the bison pizza, which was just okay, and the meatloaf, which was good. I love the philosophy of healthy, local food, but $150 for a family of four who all leave hungry is not sustainable.

How a restaurant should be! This is one of the few places we will dine out at. The food is top quality; whole food that is organic and local when possible, grassfed beef, no seed oils, a wonderful variety, and with seasonal options as well! The hostesses are always friendly and attentive and our server, Tracey, was top notch at both our visits. Highly recommend.

True Food is a go-to for me and my wife, and normally really good. On this trip, her Korean noodle bowl was great, but I had the new, not-so-great Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with the "True Crisp'd" air fried chicken. The chicken was extremely dry, and the sandwich overall was not Nashville style, with just a tiny bit of sauce spread on a generic bun. A very weak offering with zero flavor, and for $18. This item needs to be completely reworked or dropped.

server was terrific! loved the lasagna and guacamole . granddaughter had a noodle bowl~ terrific! wasn’t too noisy so was able to have good conversation. all around good time and good food with adult grandchildren who are on gluten and dairy free diets.

The app arrived before our drinks. The kids pasta with the sauce was not that great. The server was supper nice though and took it off the check. We were next to the side door and every time it was opened it was like a gust of wind! Had better experience here but we will be back.
