I booked TuLu for Christmas Eve dinner with my adult kids. My daughter is vegan, gluten- and dairy-free, so it can be a challenge to find nice restaurants to fit her food sensitivities and where the rest of us also want to eat... TuLu fit the bill. There were plenty of vegan options and the server asked about allergies and preferences and was able to have the kitchen customize some of the dishes to meet my daughter's needs, such as serving cheese on the side rather than in a couple of the dishes. We were seated at a high top table next to the bar and at first I didn't like it, but then I was glad because the bar was quiet and it gave us more space than we would have had in the actual dining room. Our server was excellent. Even us carnivores liked the flavorful vegan friendly apps. The cocktails were creative and delicious. Everyone was satisfied with the entrees as well. We got salmon, steak, pork medallions, and a vegan pasta dish and everyone cleaned their plates. We got there before sunset and walked out to the beach. It's a really lovely location across from the Cavalier. They had the inside and outside decorated for Christmas and it was really pretty. I would recommend this place. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't validate parking. It cost us $9 to park in the garage attached to the hotel. It would have been nice given that I spent $300 on the meal.

We had a great table overlooking the ocean & beautiful sunset. The food was delicious, atmosphere was gorgeous & our server was attentive and pleasant.

The music was @ 90%, it felt like a disco. For a bar/restaurant where everyone was sitting eating and having conversation at 7pm, the music should have been 40-50% lower than it was. It was noise pollution at its greatest. It was a clash to the ambiance and mood of the establishment. I would be surprised if no one complained and or asked to have it turned down. This is coming from a man who plays in a classic rock band, grew up going to concerts in the 70’s, and still plays loud music. I just don’t care for it when I am having dinner with my wife.

We went on Tuesday and took advantage of the food and drink specials. This a real good deal with half priced wine and a $10 menu. TuLu’s has a great atmosphere and the food is always really good.
