Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.
You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.

The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. All our wines have been made following low intervention organic/biodynamic practices. We also pour many local naturally made ciders and perrys. Our soft drinks are made in house showcasing seasonal cordials, and aperitif/digestif offerings can bookend your meal if desired.

    Not much from the outside but the menu, the quality of ingredients and the presentation were all excellent. Great place.

    Our waitress was super attentive and brought us little end bits of fresh bread for us to use for the leftover sauce on our dishes - little touch but was noticeable and really made that difference

    Fabulous lunch. Spaghetti vongole was beautifully balanced. Knocked a star off because the prunes in brandy accompanying the divine basque cheesecake needed more brandy. Very nice negroni for an aperitif and the house white was perfect with the clams.

    Absolutely superb. The food was delicious and service was impeccable. We ate with two young children at lunch time - the menu was family friendly but they adapted where we asked. We would not hesitate to recommend

    Staff were amazing and their food was super tasty and fresh. Great wine list too. I’ll definitely be back.

    We have been here many times before it just seems that the cost has gone up significantly. The wine was nice however you can get better in Bath.

    Found this incredible cozy restaurant and everything was on point! The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. I ate every bite of my meal slowly to savor it because it was so delicious! Juiciest cod I’ve ever had. The cheddar fritters… I could eat those all day! Don’t skip coming here but maybe make a rez.
