Upstairs overwhelms the senses at every turn. Take the express elevator from the street level and be transported to a breathtaking urban oasis thirty stories above Manhattan. Living green walls cascade down bronze panels framing the surrounding cityscape from every possible angle.

A perfect view of the iconic Chrysler Building is the star of the show. The lighting design interprets a fresh spin on old Hollywood glamour incorporating vintage theatrical lights and strings of edison bulbs that float overhead emitting an intimate, sensual mood. Deliberately shying away from outdoor lounge-style furniture typical of most rooftop bars as of late, Upstairs’ furniture was carefully curated from renowned houses such as B&B Italia, Knoll and Moooi. Clean lines and elegant form at once seem hyper-modern and neo-gothic, inviting guests to relax and unwind in an environment that exemplifies subtle, urban sophistication.

The perfect spot for a business drink on a Monday night. Enough people to give it a vibe. Quiet enough for a conversation. Short but adequate wine menu, great cocktails. Didn’t try the food but it looked good. Nice view for out of towners.

Beautiful view and delicious food!! The lobby of the hotel has this mesmerizing fish tank. Our waitress was very nice and we rode on the elevator with the manager when we were coming and when we were leaving as well lol Very pleasant and welcoming!!

The music and vibe was amazing. Food was bit bland but with a little bit of salt it was good… the service was lacking and could have been better.

Good quality was great! Salad & flatbread were tasty. Waters were constantly being filled! Such a cute spot with great views of the city.

Love the place! Great for a drink with a view and excellent service. Our food consisted only of popcorn (couldn’t complete review without food rating). That said, the popcorn was phenomenal!

Avoid this place! So much potential here yet squandered. Out waitress was awful; rude, slow, and seemingly uninterested in even being there or providing any customer service. The room was so cold it was almost unbearable. In its current iteration, I would not recommend Upstairs and would instead recommend quickly heading out the door and going somewhere that will appreciate your decision to come to their establishment.

I chose upstairs at the Kimberly the food was really good. Loved the speciality drinks. Everyone really enjoyed. It’s a little $&&&&
