I have been dining at this place twice. It has great potential if few issues are addressed. While the ambiance is nice and food is decent, the management and greeting staff is very poor. I made reservations and made notes regarding birthday and seating and none were read or acknowledged by the staff. The food is terribly inconsistent in sizing. While a pasta dish is as big as a fist (carbonara), another is 3 times bigger and overflowing off the plate (chicken Parmesan). Lamb was supposed to be cooked medium but the blood was pouring out when served. The Ragu pasta has absolutely no flavor. We had to drench it in Parmesan cheese to make it edible. Now to the wine storage. While they have a great selection of wines, their storage is unacceptable. All bottles are stored upright in a simple cabinet and not a whine cellar/cooler. I would not order the Silver Oak stored in this condition. So rookie! The waitresses we had both times were very nice though and that’s really the only plus of the staff. Drinks take forever to make although the place is small and most folks I saw they ordered wine. The space at the bar was taken by staff and management instead of customers - odd.

Service staff are new and temporary for holidays. Slow and inexperienced. Table lamps are rechargeable and kept burning out. We couldn’t see our food. Which is too bad because the food and wine are excellent.

The superior service did not make the average food stand out. Much better cocktails and appetizers are available locally as are the average entrees. Good wine list and desserts. Cocktails are a comparative short pour and dont use luxardo cherries.

It was Tuesday night and we were the only dinners at 5:30 PM. The staff made us feel special. The food was yummy. Missed have the owner’s daughter speciality. Definitely a go to dinner place for us

Really cute place, but pasta was a bit tough- for a place that appears to make its own pasta noodles that was surprising, and the chicken I had added to my pasta was frankly terrible- overcooked, and the focaccia was raw on the bottom- underproofed or underbaked. Wish the food was better because the restaurant was pretty.

The food was very salty from the table bread, salads, and main entrees. The service was quite slow but I believe that was due to them training additional staff. The ambience was beautiful.

I always enjoy coming here. The service is outstanding. The pasta is wonderful. Wine list is excellent. I love sitting in the back and watching what goes on in the kitchen. I would love it if they could add a large bar area where you could come and have great Italian wines by the glass and cicchetti like you find in some of the non-touristy squares in Venice or Apertivos like you'd find in Florence or Milan between 7 and 9 pm! In Italy Cicchetti and apertivo is a time-honored tradition-not to be rushed. Here , while they do serve some cicchetti, it's treated more like American pre-dinner cocktails rather than a leisurely affair all its own.

Since they opened, I have been a huge proponent of this place. Some of the best Italian around, but I had a wonderful filet mignon the other night. Perfect!
