As you are dining with us as a larger group booking, you will be dining from our restaurant tasting menu which can be viewed on our website. https://valentinamerimbula.com/tasting-menu Credit card details are required to secure this reservation. We know that plans can change, though we ask that any cancellations are made no less than 6 hours prior to your booking time. Cancellations made within this time, or failure to show up will see an automatic charge of $50 per person. Groups of 7 or more will incur a 10% service charge. This reservation is for 2 hours.

The most amazing venue which we have greatly enjoyed and will greatly miss when they depart us. If you have the opportunity to visit before they shut down in May, please do. Incredible service, stunning views and most of all delicious & considerate food. A must visit when in the area.

Absolutely amazing! First time here even though we have been to merimbula so many times. It’s quite pricey but the good & service was impeccable. Best meals we have ever had!!

Review of Valentino’s Restaurant Merimbula We had high hopes for Valentino’s, given its pleasant ambiance and lovely view, but unfortunately, our dining experience was overshadowed by excessive salt and a lingering fishy smell upon entry. The service was attentive, and the staff made an effort to accommodate our concerns. However, the food itself was a letdown. The scallops were completely overpowered by salt, masking their delicate flavor. The soft-shelled prawns were not only overly salty but also had a gluggy texture, with a shell that was tougher than expected. For mains, the pasta with blue swimmer crab was inedible due to saltiness. Even after returning it for a freshly cooked dish, the dish remained overwhelmingly salty, suggesting that the crab was pre-mixed in a sauce with an already high salt content. The kingfish had a crumb coating that, once again, was far too salty, forcing me to scrape some off just to enjoy the fish itself. It seems the kitchen is relying far too heavily on salt rather than allowing the natural flavors of the seafood to shine. While the restaurant did comp part of our meal as an apology, unless they adjust their seasoning habits, they risk driving customers away. A more balanced approach to flavour would make a significant difference.

What a great fine dining experience we had at Valentinos Meriimbula. We shared 3 seafood entrees (the bbq prawns and the octopus were excellent) swordfish main and a desert. All were great, extensive wine list and very friendly staff. A great gastronomical interlude to our camping trip.

Exceptional! No better restaurant in Merimbula! Food world class, service is excellent, beautiful setting & ambience. Would give any top restaurant in Melbourne a run for its money!
