Welcome to our new Van Winkle West End location, we look forward to welcoming you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

Serving the largest selection of Bourbons in Scotland along with an awesome array of beers, wine and cocktails.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

We are in a great location at Sandyford Place, Sauchiehall Street with easy access from the City Centre or the West End.

Don't forget our fantastic beer garden out the front and back, a great spot to enjoy a beer or two.

We offer a sit in, takeaway and home delivery service via takeaway partners Just Eat and Uber Eats or you can order online for collection at www.vanwinkle.co.uk

Van Winkle’s artfully stressed corrugated tin, stripped wood tables and brick walls all give you the feeling that you might just have stepped into the Kentucky backwoods. This Kentucky inspired feast includes chicken wings, flautas, mac n cheese, hill billy roast taters, cauliflower bites, buttermilk chicken tenders, dirty fries, finished with Van Winkle bourbon brownie. Food was spectacular but not a fan of the automatic tip added on. If our server deserved it I will tip but automatically adding £10 is very shady

We had a lovely lunch here recently. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The food arrived quickly and everything was very tasty. Only part we weren’t keen on was that there was a lot of dogs in and some were a bit whiffy which is slightly off putting when you’re eating. But we had a lovely time overall!

Handy for post-show easy eats as it’s a short drive from the Hydro and away from the congestion of Finnieston. Good that it’s dog friendly and they even have a dog menu which was great. Food was pretty good, not outstanding but tasty enough. Our server was really friendly and helpful. Overall decent place for a quick bite.

Staff were welcoming but the place seemed like it could do with a good clean. Smelt very deep fried and gents toilets were wiffy with one basin with a plastic bag tied over it!?! Food was average but onion rings were soggy and both me and my son were sick after!?

Had to amend our reservation last minute due to a broken down train and the venue couldn’t have been any more accommodating. The food was excellent and I would highly recemmend Van Winkle.
