We had a big group and the staff was able to to handle it perfectly. The food was very delicious. The steak was amazing and pastas great too

Veneto is both an intimate neighborhood restaurant and one of the city's most tony dining destinations. As a family-run Italian osteria, Veneto serves a compact and ever-changing menu of regional Italian cooking. We usually opt for their tasting menu to take advantage of the season's best ingredients and recipes. They particularly shine with grilled and roasted meats and usually have some excellent pastas on offer. The wine list is fabulous, with a hefty price tag to match. You can count on unique selections that are special-ordered by the restaurant. Marco, the co-owner, is a wine dealer and expert, who is an extremely knowledgeable resource. The staff is excellent---very attentive and professional, yet accessible and friendly.. Gratuities are not required at Veneto; instead, they are factored into the menu prices with a modest coperta (service fee) added to the bill. For a special occasion or a romantic date night, Veneto should be at the top of your list!

As always, excellent food, outstanding service in a charming setting. The ala carte menu is heavy on red meat, but here is a branzino option that is very tasty. All appetizers and desserts are "to die for". The sommelier is very knowledgeable, and there are not too many places in SLC that offer Sicilian wines. Last night, our sommelier brought over a recommended Sicilian red with tannins for our delicious venison and filet mignon. Right away he noticed that the cork smelled musky, let us taste it and then brought over a new bottle. I have dined her probably 10X, and always have enjoyed the experience.

From the service to the food quality, we really enjoyed our experience at VENETO. I especially appreciated the more intimate dining room, the attentive team, and of course - each and every course of the meal. First time, but certainly not the last.

After my son had visited VENETO on two occasions, he employed me to visit as well. So I took the family of six to VENETO for a wonderful dinner. The food was second to none. The ambience was beautiful and the wine selection is amazing.
