Found in the heart of historic Currie Barracks in Calgary, AB we have transformed the D4 Stables landmark into a unique collaboration restaurant. Nestled into our West wing we have Vaycay Brew Co brewing up unique, easy drinking beers, and our East is the home to Burwood Distillery focusing on craft made spirits like gins and whiskey using local ingredients like our Honey farms. In the middle we are Veranda, so whether you are in for a beer or cocktail we have them all, and produced on site! Our cuisine focuses on utilizing our collaborative partners brew and spirits into our dishes with our showcased Italian clay brick ovens on display for guests to watch their pizzas being cooked. Incredible events space, sprawling 200 seat south facing patio, gin distilling classes, tours and more. A quick 6 minutes from downtown Veranda is your hidden gem of Calgary. Got there for happy hour and well worth it. The drinks and food were very good. Loved the nachos.

I’m gonna change my review to five star! Food was delicious, we had the beer cheese soup, shared a salad, there were three of us and we shared something else which I can’t remember but no, it was delicious! The drinks are superb! I think I was gonna give it a four star just because it took a little while to get our drinks throughout the meal but it’s understandable given the Christmas season. Will definitely be back!

Lovely evening out with my husband’s work colleagues and spouses! Thanks again for the fabulous cocktails and delicious food! See you again in a few weeks for another work dinner.

Very good “ house” red wine . I have enjoyed it in previous visits. Staff very friendly . Primary area for comfort and ambiance great for both low and high tables …. In the other hand , the hallway is cold removed from the vibe.

Great quality food. Highly recommend the tuna tataki and the beer cheese fries. Wife loved the olive and cheese plate as well. Definitely loud but could have also been all the Xmas parties. Great for groups, maybe not a first date. Would come again for sure!

Everything was superb except the the level of noise in the restaurant. The stereo music was way too loud and really suit the demographic. You had to shout to your friends to be heard across the table. Very warming and such a shame!
