Vola's Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge, ubicado en la esquina de las calles King y Union Street, en el paseo a orillas del río del centro histórico de Alexandria, es un restaurante de marisco de ambiente relajado y divertido y un bar para refugiarse tanto para turistas como para los residentes de la zona. El Vola's abraza la sencillez y ha sido diseñado como un lugar donde sentirse como si ya se hubiera estado antes allí y donde todo el mundo se conoce. We were seated in the extension room, which was a glass box with tiled floor and little light. Basic wooden tables, no real ambiance. Server was personable and helpful, but rarely came to check on us. Food was very good- well prepared and generous portions. When we checked in for our reservation we were in the main restaurant, and that was a more pleasant setting but very loud. We enjoyed the food, but not sure we'd go back unless it was nice weather and we could sure outside and take advantage of the views.

The food, drinks and servers were amazing. We tried all of the oysters, shrimp pasta and blackened salmon.

Dockside?? We were taken out of the restaurant down the hall and around the corner to a weird room overlooking the street...should have read some of the other reviews...
