Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    Great lunchtime meet with friends. Fabulous value with lunch offer M-Fr. Friendly service. We need to cherish these independent places that offer great food and service week in week out. Thanks Volta

    A wonderful place on a street with lots of choice. Volta never fails to deliver. The menu is great and the food outstanding. Not our first visit and can’t ever see us having a last visit!

    A great variety of food suiting all the party - vegetarians, pescatarians, meat eaters, low carbs, adventurous 3 year old. The small plates are not that small, so the 3 for £18 offer with some bread and nibbles is more than adequate for everyone. We couldn't manage pudding. It was very quiet but hardly surprising for an early weekday lunch in February - and an advantage with 2 small children.

    Everything was delicious!! Halloumi was like a cloud. Goat cheese fantastic.

    Food was incredible! We had such a good time. The service was a tad slow but other than that, a perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day 💕

    Our favourite date night spot, we couldn’t go anywhere else on Valentine’s Day. The Volta Experience menu was perfectly curated, we were let full and happy. As our favourite plate (goats cheese and honey) wasn’t on the menu for 2, we requested a swap which was accepted with ease. Friendly staff who are very attentive and a perfect date night ambiance without it being too quiet where everyone can hear your conversation! We love Volta
