Known for his innovative blend of Greek and Central European flavors, Filippou’s cuisine masterfully celebrates simplicity, creativity, and a deep respect for ingredients. Filippou will bring his visionary approach to the Vue de monde kitchen for a takeover night of boundary-pushing, artful dishes, creating a unique menu crafted specially for the occasion. Due to the nature of this bespoke event, dietary requirements cannot be accommodated. Beverage pairings are available to be ordered on the night.

The service and food were both incredible. Every dish was so unique. It's definitely quite pricey (high-end for sure but maybe a little over-priced), but an experience you would only need to do once in a blue moon. Everyone who lives in Melbourne or visits Melbourne needs to do this at least once

Have known about this restaurant for over 2 decades but wowwwwww it did beat expectations!! Do the wine pairing it’s sensational. Can’t wait to come back

Absolutely amazing dining experience, staff were so lovely and welcoming and made sure we were well catered for at every moment. It was a pleasure spending my 18th birthday at Vue de monde ❤️

Truly a exceptional encounter, from the service, ambience and views are complimented by one of the best dining experiences I've had in Melbourne. The food not only delectable but the range of flavours both suttle and punch packing with the textures of each dish changing were outstanding, like a roller-coaster ride on the pallete, truly a delight paired with some of the best wines to elevate the taste of each dish, giving it another level of depth. The smaller details like a textured spoon for added mouth feel, to the table side manner of each individual staff member helping to further enhance the experience and enchanting the diner to the world of the vu de monde pallete, it is no wonder it is such a icon that has been around for the last 20yrs.

Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.
