With one of the best cocktail menus in Dún Laoghaire, and regular seasonal drink specials there is something for everyone at Walters.

Live music every Thursday - Sunday
Thursdays- Jazz with The Tenters 8pm - 10pm
Fridays- 10pm - 12.30am
Saturdays- 4pm - 6.30pm & 10pm - 12.30am
Sundays- Jazz with The Lounge Quintet 4pm - 6.30pm

Walters since 1904, and Lloyd’s Pub prior to that, 68 Upper George’s Street has been part of the social fabric of Dún Laoghaire for many generations. Now under new management, we are embarking on the next chapter and look forward to meeting you at our venue.

    Whilst most things were ok and staff were friendly the inexperience was almost comical. Had to ask for spoons for soup, ask for water, asked for glass of ice and than got our four glasses of water instead (only three of us. Offered someone else's dinner. Offered our roast before our starter. Three attempts to get the right drinks. Had to ask for sauces etc than had the wrong ones brought to the table. Asked three times for extra gravy, came when we were just about finished. Staff were friendly but in dire need of some training.......

    Great experience and all thanks to the lovely staff who served us during our visit. Cosy and great food for value!

    Very tasty main courses. Set St Patrick's Day menu. Desserts only average. Brownie and apple crumble served cold. Should have been warmed up. Very nice staff. White wine Very pricy 10.50 per glass. Yikes!

    Food and service was excellent! Great atmosphere- great selection on the menu caters for all pallets. The prawns pils pils was so tasty! The chocolate mousse was a great hit! definitely be back.

    Walters describes itself as a café bar, and we were content to be seated in the busy area near the bar surrounded by happy diners on Valentine's night. We enjoyed a three course dinner at a reasonable price, then danced the night away to a pair of excellent musicians at no extra charge.

    Second time visiting Walter's pub. We were not disappointed. Fabulous atmosphere, great food at affordable prices. Great pub, great people, great food and great service. Whats not to like. 5*

    After confirming the 7pm booking, we arrived on time only to be told that the kitchen was closed. We had to leave and search and for another place to eat, without any booking.

    Not good Electricity failed so only got a starter. Which was average Very noisy could not have a conversation Getting service difficult Not happy campers
