The food & cocktails were very good. The Grouper was excellent The dining room seemed louder than normal.

Ate here during our honeymoon six years ago. Atmosphere and service have changed. There is a large screen TV now, which is odd in a fine dining restaurant with the prices to match. To use during lunch would be more appropriate, but in the evening it cheapens the ambience. The piano (which was being played) is positioned right in front of the TV (which was on) which felt disrespectful to the player. Disappointing for our anniversary dinner. Food was very good. Service was okay. Staff was not rude by any means, but also not super friendly. I would say a nice spot for lunch if they offer it, but not for a fine dining experience for dinner.

I knew I should have been cautious when this place was one of the only ones with openings on Fall Fest weekend. We had been here before but wanted to give it a second chance. Now this gripe may be minor to some but when we order an appetizer, we don't expect our meals to come out less than 5 minutes later. That timing was terrible and makes us feel rushed. That is suck a small item to manage and shouldn't happen in a place like this. The side dishes on my scallops- the wild rice and squash were clumpy, and room temp as if they were sitting in a dish on the back and plopped onto the plate after the scallops were done. The server needed more training as well as she didn't know whiskeys when we asked what they had. That's the restaurants fault for not training her properly. If you want a speakeasy theme, whiskey is the one liquor that should be highlighted more than others. Overall, for the price we paid, I was very disappointed, and we won't return.

This place is a true hidden gem. So much so that you want it to stay quaint because it’s so fantastic, but they deserve to be announced from the rooftops. We had no issue getting a reservation in mid-October which is always a plus in Door County. We started with the pretzel (dips were great), followed by soups and dinner salad. Flavors were insane and dressing was made fresh. My husband had the grouper and I had the duck. We were blown away with the quality of the meal due the price. I also got the he lychee martini with smoke bubble on top. It’s a showstopper for sure. The place is run by a great family who made us feel like we had entered a different era. The chef even came out to see how our food tasted. We can’t wait to come back every time we are up in the area!

Nice atmosphere. Service o.k.. Meal underwhelming. Ribs (nightly special) arrived undercooked. My partner said they were "awful". The potato order was wrong and had to be re-done, and my dinner (scallops) was luke warm with overcooked yet cool green beans. I so wanted to like this place. There was no mention of bill adjustment (or a glass of wine on the house?) to make up for all the missteps. Don't know if we'll be back.

Excellent food, great ambiance, great service. I love the fun speakeasy cocktails and costumes and the food is always exceptional. The charcuterie board is served beautifully and the entrees are delicious and filling. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Service and ambiance was very good. Both of us had potatoes with our meal - au gratin and sweet and they were both a little more al dente than we would like. Taste of food was good.

Delighted to talk with the chef & learn about the restaurant. Food was great - lamb, grouper, chicken, walleye. Enjoyed the experience.
