Tacoma’s newest waterfront restaurant, Woven Seafood & Chophouse, is a Roy Yamaguchi concept owned by The Puyallup Tribe of Indians. Woven celebrates a rich fusion of culinary traditions, honoring Yamaguchi’s Japanese heritage and pioneering Hawaii regional cuisine, along with the traditions of the Puyallup Tribe and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.

One of my coworkers recommended this place and oh, boy it didn’t disappoint the food was beautiful and delicious. Our waitress whose name was Patience was incredible! She was knowledgeable and kind as we asked a million questions. It was my husband’s 55th birthday we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our visit.. we were meeting up with a friend and the waitress didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Thank you for great service!

Great food, great ambiance, great service (our server was very knowledgeable & thorough with his descriptions) & even better price! Restaurants on the Ruston strip tend to be on the pricier side, but Woven is nice on the pocket book for the same (if not better) experience you would get at similar restaurants in the area! We will be returning customers!

Wonderful restaurant, superb food and service. The drinks are wonderful but small for the price (and I’m not a heavy drinker).

We celebrated a bday here tonight and the restaurant is 1st class and heads and shoulders in all of Tacoma. More importantly, As a former fine dining server I’m always grateful when I’m treated with gold star service and hospitality. Zachary is such an amazing server that he kicked up our experience there a couple notches. My daughter called him the GOAT of waiters! If you know what this means then get yourself over there and request him. And oh yeah, the food was (as we say in Hawaii) “Broke da mouth ono!”

Outstanding food. Had Black Cod & Short Ribs. Loved everything but where we were seated, in one of the booths that line the kitchen. Noisy and too cafeteria-ish with no ambience. There were some other individual tables in the upper level that I felt were the same, with bright lights shining on them. Cold and impersonal. Down in the lower level there was nice, darker lighting with soft, individual candles on the tables. Way better atmosphere. I felt with the higher cost of dining there, the upper tables were unfair especially since when we made our reservations it was completely open. When we eat there again, which we will bc of the delicious food, we will request the lower level.
