this restaurant is closed!!!!!!!!!!! i made a reservation before it closed and was never given notice that the restaurant closed down. me and my guests went to this restaurant at our reservation time. even the day of the reservation, i was still asked if i was coming. very upsetting!

We arrived for our reservation and was told the restaurant had closed a few weeks ago and was only a comedy club. Very disappointed and had to make new plans on the fly.

The hostess was by herself and was amazing. The chef brought out some special amuse Bouche and they were so good. Drinks were good, atmosphere good, and staff friendly

Overall good. Excellent choice for a good meal at a reasonable price. Good vibe, just far enough down Fremont to relax, but still be fun

I was disappointed on all levels. We had to ask for our drinks AFTER our food came and our entree's came before our appetizers. There was a horrible smell in the restaurant and giant fans blowing air around. Our group of 5 sent back three of the entree's because they were so bad and served completely cold. We actually ended up going to another restaurant for dinner. I can't remember the last time I had a restaurant experience this bad. What a huge disappointment across the board.

We had a large party, the service was great. The food was very good. The ambiance was upbeat and fun. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Loved meeting the chef. Ordered family style for 12 and all the food was prepared perfectly and met all dietary needs. Also highly recommend buying the cooks a round of beers.

Came here after my wedding with my wedding party of 15. First off the times of the wedding and my photographer kept fluctuating and I kept having to adjust my times and they still accommodated it each time! Thank you CJ! Upon arrival we were seated very quickly and attended to quickly as well! The staff was great and the chef himself was amazing! He helped my wedding party and I celebrate our big day and even made me a mocktail because I don’t drink. (The mocktail was one of the best non alcoholic drinks I’ve ever had) the food was soooo goood!!! The strawberry sushi roll was something I’ve never had in my life and I fell in love! It had popping boba on top! Sounds weird but I promise it’s sooo delicious! The pork belly melted in my mouth from the slider. Everything was seriously so amazing and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making our wedding day that much more special!

We had a great meal at ZAI. The staff were great and made a birthday dinner extra special. The food was inventive and delicious.
