    The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great! I really wanted to love it, but we were disappointed in every dish except for the shrimp.

    The freshness and flavors in each dish were extraordinary. Our table enjoyed sharing many dishes, of which the standouts were the seared halloumi, Lamb Barharat, Gardes Me Antho shrimp, Octopus Santorini, and the pear & yogurt to only name a few. Everything was so well seasoned and we savored how each fresh ingredient is treated with such respect. The service was exceptional, with extensive knowledge of the menu and guidance to ordering complimentary dishes.

    So thrilled to finally have Zaytinya in LA! Perfect meal, with excellent food and service (thank you Kelly!). Please bring back the zucchini fritters!

    Great experience, food, drink and dessert - will be back! Service was slow at times but restaurant was fully packed.

    Everything was great until kitchen served cold entree ( which was supposed to be hot) and our waiter took it back to replace. 30 minutes later no replacement nor any sight of our other entree!!! So left not willing to wait any longer. Kitchen makes mistakes no big deal but the restaurant management not showing any initiative to rectify nor acknowledging it by coming to the table is not acceptable !

    I frequented Zaytinya restaurants in DC and NYC over the last ten years, and was delighted when it opened on December 17 in Culver City. We just had our first dinner there, which was exquisite and almost brought tears to my eyes. I highly recommend it to one and all. The blend of Spanish, Greek, Lebanese, and Turkish recipes and flavors is out of this world. Many thanks to Jose Andres and his fabulous team and wonderful work.

    We were seated at the last table in the back outside and were neglected all night unfortunately. They never even gave us clean plates during the service as we were ordering new dishes. I’m sure the DC location is a better experience than this new LA location but after this Christmas Eve debacle I doubt I’ll ever go back.

    I recently ate at Oyamel in Wash DC. This was beyond OUTSTANDING! The food was breathtaking. So I had high expectations for Zaytinya west coast. Though the food was good, it did not rate anywhere near my DC experience. Our server was very nice and took care to meet our needs. And I know it's only been open a week, but in the middle of dinner, over very loud music, a fire alarm and recorded voice went off and kept going for at least 10 minutes. We were told there was no need to leave, that it was probably a fire door in the connecting hotel. I would've thought something would be offered for this. We were told there is sister restaurant to Oyamel on the roof. I will certainly try it, But overall, this did not live up to Jose Andres' superb culinary genius. PS - Both my friend and I ate exactly the same items and we both are having digestive issues today!!!
