The music was entirely too loud for an almost empty restaurant, even the staff commented on it. Food is pretty expensive for the amount served. Our waitress was attentive.

We had reservations for New Year’s Eve and all things considered I think the staff did a wonderful with small delays getting groups seated. Once seated, service was prompt and we had a great experience and were still able to meet our other commitments even with the short delays on an extremely busy night. Well done and we will be returning for future visits.

We arrived at 7:45 for an 8:00 reservation and we were told there would be over an hour wait. We left and made other arrangements. It was quite embarrassing with friends for NYE when plans did not pan out. We should have at least been notified earlier that things were running that far behind. The front desk was short and not the slightest apologetic about the situation. No harm, there are hundreds of other places to eat in the KC metro and we will not return to this one.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at RA Sushi Bar Restaurant in Leawood, KS, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was welcoming. My wife, a sushi enthusiast, was delighted with the variety and freshness of her sushi selections. Meanwhile, I opted for the hibachi menu, which did not disappoint. The flavors were outstanding, and the presentation was just as impressive. What truly set this experience apart, however, was our server, Michael. He went above and beyond to ensure our dinner was perfect, attending to every detail with professionalism and genuine care. It’s rare these days to encounter such exceptional service, and Michael truly elevated our evening. We highly recommend RA Sushi Bar Restaurant for anyone looking for great food and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

First time coming - hot appetizers were cold, sushi was mediocre, and the service was absolutely horrible. Also last time coming….

Our waitress was very good but it seemed they were short staffed. It was on Christmas Day and if the food had been very good I would give a better review. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The avocado on my roll was not very fresh.

Server got a lot of things wrong. Fixed them but it required a lot of waiting. The did itself was good but probably overpriced for the quality of the service behind it
