El Rails Steakhouse presenta un ambiente relajado y sirve cocina de temporada preparada con esmero.     Rails offers several private and intimate spaces, the Library and Mosaic room which feature sweeping views of downtown Towaco and are perfect for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and showers and for holding smaller business meetings. For larger events such as cocktail and engagement parties consider the Rails main dining room or Rafters Lounge, with its striking catwalk and expansive, curved bar. In warmer months, the outdoor Vista Terrace is a wonderful location for a reception or a cocktail hour, offering front-row views of the gorgeous surrounding scenery. All of our private dining options feature Rails signature, eco-friendly blend of natural elements and luxurious interior design, and all have widescreen televisions available for presentations.

    Can't miss here. Certainly one of the best Steak Houses in the area and well worth a trip if you have to travel far. But they also have so many other wonderful things on the menu i want to go back many times to sample them all. Service is top notch, form the hostess to the wait staff. You will feel important to everyone.

    Beautiful ambiance but small portion for appetizers, drinks were very weak and expensive, steaks were decent but nothing to rave about. Upstairs bartenders cared more about making drinks for the servers than the people sitting at the bar. Always had to ask for something instead of the bartender, who served us drinks and dinner, noticing or even caring for the matter, what we need to make it a perfect night. Definitely will not go back. It's unfortunate because this restaurant used to be so much better but has taken a downhill spiral recently. It was obvious to me that others felt the same because it was far from.packed on a Saturday night.

    Rails is an experience, it’s BIG, noisy at times and full of people. If you are looking for a romantic spot, this may not be ideal. The bar was packed when we arrived so we gave up on having a pre dinner drink and sat down early at our table. The tables are big, all for 4 or more people so again, not romantic. We ordered drinks at the table, they were all good, the Smokey cocktail my friend ordered was fun and good. We ordered everything at once, the mussels special was very good, with a smoky broth and yummy toast points. The oysters were fresh albeit very small . The rolls that they give you are amazing! For dinner we got different steaks and a pizza with pear, Gorgonzola and a reduction. Mashed potatoes and mushrooms as sides. The steaks were flavorful and tender, the pizza was forgettable, a bit soggy and nothing special. Sides were yummy. We had our leftovers bagged up and headed to the bar. This is where the lack of 5 stars across the board happens. My friend ordered a Manhattan, made the way the bartender would want it, all good, my husband asked for Irish Mist, they said they had it somewhere (15 minutes later we got it) I had coffee, I was driving, it came 10 minutes later and was Luke warm, no milk as requested was brought, I told them it was nearly cold, they apologized, left it in front of me, AND charged us for the coffee I didn’t drink. Basically the bar ruined the overall experience of the night.
