今月の特別メニューのひつまぶし、ウナギも海鮮、どちらもグッド👍清潔で器も吟味されており、要領得たサービス(シェアに必要なお皿など)も嬉しかったらです。お勧めのお店です。

落ち着いた雰囲気で料理はもちろん、板前さんとの会話も弾み、本当に楽しいひとときを過ごせました。久しぶりに美味しいお寿司を頂いたと思えました。

Not only was our chef , Shun (sp?) at the Teppanyaki grill a great chef, he was also engaging and such a wonderful sense of humor. Our servers (Andy and Irene) were as helpful, efficient and friendly as they get. This will be a regular stop for us as life-long residents of Honolulu

Our server Peggy was outstanding! Very gracious and professional. Food presentation and taste was excellant. Ambiance was very pleasant and relaxing. Our dinner was a birthday celebration for my friend who has never dined here. He was very impressed with the overall experience! Thank you for making this celebration a very memorable evening! We will dine here again.

The restaurant underwent a renovation in 2024, which unfortunately changed the entire atmosphere of the washoku area. Previously, it was a quiet, calm, and open space with a terrific ambiance. However, that's no longer the case. The tables are now crammed together, giving the feeling of a fast-food restaurant, and the noise level was maddening. Our server seemed overwhelmed. She brought out two of the three meals and placed the trays upside down, which made it feel like she hadn’t been properly trained in Japanese dining traditions. After waiting, I had to ask for my food, only to discover it had been sitting in the service area the entire time. The food itself was pretty good, but the tempura was too oily. On a positive note, they remembered it was my dad’s birthday and brought out a dessert with a candle, which was a nice touch. In the end, I believe the renovation was a poor decision for the washoku area. While the teppanyaki and omakase sections may have benefitted, this place is no longer for me. It seems like the focus has shifted toward attracting tourist clientele rather than maintaining the quality of a nice restaurant experience.

Bar none, the best Japanese restaurant in the US. I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants all over the US including Nobu. Nothing compares to this place if you do the sit down and not teppan. Get the Irodori set menu. Absolute heaven. I’m hard on food. Very few places get this kind of review from me.

期待値に対しては、70%程度で許容範囲ですが、円安と言うことを割り引いてもコストパフォーマンスは悪すぎると思います
