El restaurante Rustico es el pub local por excelencia y está ubicado en el límite con el casco antiguo de Alexandria. El menú ofrece una suculenta gastronomía estadounidense de temporada, preparada en horno y parrilla de leña, que incluye pizzas y carnes asadas junto a otras propuestas de cocina rústica elaboradas con los ingredientes locales frescos que estén disponibles. ¡El restaurante Rustico tiene una indudable pasión por la cebada y el lúpulo!     Rustico had a great atmosphere but the food was just ok. Nothing was bad and they got our order correct, so I can't complain. But for the cost, we were disappointed about how ordinary everything was and how small the portions were.

    We visited Rustico for brunch during Alexandria Restaurant Week. Service was really great. The food was tasty, and the drinks were nice. I got a Bloody Mary, Espresso Martini, risotto tots, French Toast, and brownie sundae. The portions were generous and filling. My Bloody Mary was pretty plain, but the martini was really nice. I enjoyed all of my food. My friend got a beer, the cauliflower appetizer, chicken & waffles, and the cinnamon donuts. They found the beer to be a little bit dull, as well as the cauliflower. They enjoyed it, along with the rest of their meal, but felt that dish was lacking. Overall, we had a really nice meal and really enjoyed ourselves! I’ll keep ordering from here and will make sure I visit in person more often!

    I will call the manager today to inquire about a strange policy. We invited two friends to join us for restaurant week When we arrived we realized that the three course meals were too much food for the two ladies in the party. So we wanted to order off the menu and the guys were going to order the fixed price three course meals. Our server told us the restaurant menu was “all or nothing” meaning all four of us would have to order it or no one at the table could. Very disappointing and frankly the restaurant lost money because my husband had one entree and shared my appetizer and we all skipped the dessert.

    Sidney our waitstaff was excellent. He made good suggestions on food and drink. He was attentive without being cloying. The appetizers were very good: meatballs and risotto bites and Brussels sprouts. Would have liked better choices for an entree , but the passion fruit cheesecake and Brownie sundae were amazing.
