For me, there is the whiff of anachronism in the air that doesn’t allow excitement where once I would have relished the experience. That is RC to me now. A pleasing experience of getting exactly what I paid for—neither more nor less. The staff are friendly however the overall service is not impressive. I made an appointment with the note requesting for a birthday message on the dessert, however it was not responded and it appeared that the restaurant did not notice it when i mentioned it after arriving. The plate served to me was dirty and i had to request to change it. The wine was served very late after main course, and the cake was ready for a while next to the table but no one picked it up and served it to us after quite some time.

Ruth’s Chris in Hong Kong exceeded all expectations! The ribeye was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality and excellence.
Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. Betty and Jared went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience, making our visit truly special. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality added a personal touch that made all the difference.

Two filet mignons (11 oz, medium rare), creamed spinach, mashed potatoes. Steaks on searing sizzling hot plates. All as expected. Room is typical RC steakhouse nice with interior wood walls to provide a sense of intimacy and welcome sound buffering. White linen tablecloths and pleasant service attributes. Again, all as expected. We got exactly what we paid for in a perfectly pleasing meal. For me, there is the whiff of anachronism in the air that doesn’t allow excitement where once I would have relished the experience. That is RC to me now. A pleasing experience of getting exactly what I paid for—neither more nor less. A perfectly backhanded compliment in the wake of a very good steak.
