    I took my husband out for his birthday dinner and made reservations in Northbrook because we were in town for personal reasons. Willie was our server and was sooo personal and warming! LouAnn was our hostess and was amazing and very welcoming! The manager was amazing and very welcoming! We both had an excellent dining experience and hopefully be back in town soon! Thank you all for a lovely celebration of my husband's birthday!!! 🎈 🎂😁😇😋

    The customer service was simply amazing. We were celebrating my daughters 25th birthday. They also provided her with a custom menu along with a birthday card. We had an awesome waiter who knew the entire menu without looking at it. He was able to take all of our orders and remembered every order without writing a thing down it was absolutely amazing. I recommend this place to everyone and the food was a 10 out of 10.

    Restaurant week, good deal for $60. I would go back again. Mashed potatoes weren’t good.

    Our experience was great. Great food , great atmosphere! Very dim , but manageable. One of my favorite restaurants!

    The place has recently gotten run down. I sat on a booth seat that was totally worn out and in holes. They ran out of my husband's choice of beer after the first one and they no longer (since the pandemic) offer my favorite shoestring potatoes.

    I always really enjoy coming to restaurant for date nights… but last night my experience didn’t meet expectations that I know Ruth Chris is known for. The food especially was disappointing, service was slow, the restaurant was EXTREMELY PACKED and the servers were debating about dirty dishes being left in the eyes of the customers I just hope the next time I visit it would be better

    I have been coming to Ruth’s Chris for over 40 years and have been to locations such has Chicago, Cincinnati, and Coral Gabels, Florida. The experiences and food have always been consistent except for the last few years at the Northbrook location. They closed the downtown Chicago location years ago and this is the closest one now from Chicago. Tonight It was a few things off. My steak was tender but was missing that fragrant butter garlic smell and butter was not sizzling on the plate when it came out. Bummer bc the sound used to be everything but our plates came out with no smell or sizzling sound. The portions were clearly smaller than last year on all sides and appetizers and had the nerve to increase prices $2 to $3. I have my receipts from last year and last night. I have no problem paying more, but not for less portions and a decline in ambience and taste. I need to go to another Ruth’s Chris location before I dismiss them. Because I need to figure if it’s just this location or has Ruth’s Chris lost the legacy taste and ambience
