The Barncastle Hotel and Restaurant serves Alsatian-inspired cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients. Dishes are intended to be shared and bread (from Tinder Hearth!) is meant to be broken in their cozy dining room and pub. The beverage program features a natural and biodynamic wine list, classic cocktails, and craft Maine beer. Located in the heart of the Blue Hill Peninsula, in between Camden and Acadia National Park, it is the perfect place to gather with friends and family.

The Islesford Dock Restaurant & Gallery is just that - a restaurant and gallery on a dock on Islesford, Little Cranberry Island, Maine. We have a large greenhouse right out back that produces a good amount of our produce, source our lobsters from the fisherman's co-op just next door, and use Gulf of Maine seafood almost exclusively. The menu is rounded out with naturally raised meats and chicken and the service is casual but professional, warm and inviting. Make sure you get out to Islesford Dock while you're here in the area by taking the Beal & Bunker mail boat that makes multiple trips back and forth every day or take one of the several other tour boats out.

We are closed Mondays throughout the Summer. Starting in September we will be open for dinner service only, and we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Season ends October 1st.

El servicio fue excelente. Casi todos los platos eran deliciosos. Pedimos la sopa de cebolla, muy buena. Los moules frites buenos. No nos gustó los escargot porque vienen con una masa de hojaldre. Buck's Restaurant can be found at the end of a granite walkway lined with edible herbs in the small oceanfront town of Brooksville. We’re only a stone’s throw away from picturesque Buck’s Harbor and just across the road from historic Condon’s Garage, made famous by Robert McCloskey’s beloved children’s book “One Morning in Maine.” We’re also directly adjacent to the Buck’s Harbor Market—under common ownership—which has been the center of community life for over 75 years.

At Buck's Restaurant, our goal is to combine fine dining with friendly, observant service in a casual setting. Our menu features inventive dishes made with freshly caught seafood, premium meats and locally grown produce. Many of our dishes are gluten-free, and tasty vegetarian options are always available. For shellfish lovers, we offer a raw bar stocked with oysters and clams harvested from the cold, pristine waters of Penobscot Bay.
