First off I love the food at Salvi’s. But I’ve got to say that they really let themselves down this time around. On the way there we got stuck in traffic so I tried to call and let them know. The number on Opentable isn’t in service. So we googled the number from the car and rang repeatedly to try and advise them we were running late. They never answered. We made 12 phone calls - no answer. After running from the car park we arrived. They didn’t give us a warm welcome. In fact the waiter just looked at his watch and almost shook his head. We then stood and waited for a table. Once seated we waited 15 mins before anyone took our order and then a further 45 mins before any food arrived. The saving grace was that the food was really good. It’s a shame really cause we’ve loved the experience in the past. Maybe it was just a bad day.

A hidden gem in Manchester City centre. Staff friendly and attentive but not overbearing. A nice menu, not overwhelming and reasonably priced. The food was delicious, the portions are generous and it was great to see everything being cooked fresh from the open kitchen. Lovely and clean Will definitely return.

Amazing food , lovely restaurant and staff , I feel that the side orders are overpriced for what you get but doesn’t put me off going back . Found this restaurant just 2 weeks ago and have been both weekends . Would recommend .

We were really looking forward to visiting Salvis after reading such good reviews online. The restaurant looked appealing with the deli shop it gave a true authentic feel so we were expecting top quality Italian cuisine. Unfortunately the food was bland. We ordered calamari which was ok, mushroom arancini which was quite nice but then the main courses were a real let down. The lobster pasta looked impressive but the meat was tasteless and chewy, my guess is it was frozen. Then the carbonara which was just mediocre and the broccoli side which was like mush. The wine was great and the staff were lovely and that was the saving grace. With so much competition in Manchester we won’t be revisiting Salvis but we were glad that we attended on a night where it was 40% off food. Sorry Salvis.

Had a fantastic meal at Salvi’s! The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making for a great dining experience. The service was outstanding, every waiter was attentive and friendly, but a special shoutout to Giuseppe, who went above and beyond to make our visit even better. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ate at 5:30 pm on a Monday evening as a pre theatre dinner. The play started at 7:30 and we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Lovely restaurant, the food was wonderful (especially the deserts!) & the service was excellent. Attentive without being overly so! Excellent value as we had 40% discount on the food. A bonus as we did not feel it was in anyway overpriced to begin with. We have eaten here before and have never been disappointed. Thank you
