Arrived for an 8:15 reservation which worked out perfectly! Wait staff friendly and not stressed - attentive. Mac and cheese was amazing! Literally couldn’t get enough of it! Entrees good. Out of mud pie - which was sad. We loved it and will be back

We eat at the Tabernash Tavern every Christmas week when on vacation in Winter Park. We are always welcomed and seated in a friendly manner, and waited on immediately for drink orders. This time, our wait person was incredibly efficient to the point that it felt very impersonal and rushed. Our appetizer came out minutes after we received our drinks. Our calamari app was cooked to perfection, but we would have liked a few minutes to enjoy our cocktails. My chicken capresse entree and my husband’s meat loaf were both delicious. These arrived immediately after finishing our app. As our plates were being cleared we were asked if we were interested in desserts. Not a minute to digest! At that point we said no thank you, and our check was dropped off within minutes. There was an additional charge of $7 before tax and tip to provide the kitchen with a livable wage. The kitchen did a fantastic job of preparing our food, but at $35 to $45 for entrees, I don’t feel that the customer needs to have an additional charge to pay the kitchen. We were out of there in less than an hour and paid almost $200 including tip for our meal. The food was excellent, but the rushed and impersonal service left us not wanting to return next Christmas vacation.

We had a diverse sampling of Tabernash Taverns menu and nothing disappointed. Very fine steak, creative bibinap and a deconstructed Caesar salad were all top notch. The appetizer calamari perfectly light fry and delicious although not so healthy Brussels. Mud pie and toffee pudding a yummy sweet finale. We love the bar atmosphere and the attentive competent service. Dined here 6 or more times in the past few years, always super satisfied!

The ambiance is warm and cozy western comfort. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good. The food is good but for the price, it should be fantastic. It is a bit on the pricey side and the menu available on the app was not accurate to the options actually available on the menu.

We had a mixed experience. It was Christmas Eve so I fully allow that staffing may have been strained. Chicken caprese and drinks were very good but lamb was salty and difficult to eat as the chops were not individually cut and the ribeye was especially fatty. Service was slow but that could be due to the holiday.

Overpriced for what you get. Good food but way too expensive. Not that impressive honestly. Felt rushed a bit. Drinks ok. For $100 a person I would expect a bit more refined experience. I know it's in the mountains but... probably our last time to dine here.

It was just fine. I was expecting more for a Christmas Eve dinner and it was fine. Not impressive and it will not be one to remember. When seated upstairs, it always feels like you are forgotten.
