    we got Frank as our server for my moms birthday dinner and he was absolutely wonderful and the barn is just lovely

    Very good food, great drinks and a good price. It was very busy and noisy, but it was holiday time.

    We had a lovely time. Our server and the manager were attentive enough, the food was very good and prepared to our request, and the dessert was perfect too. Love the pineapple sauce with the carrot cake. Overall, a very nice anniversary celebration.

    First time customer and my steak was over done, dry and not hot. Had to return and it took forever to replace, and I ended up eating by myself in front of my guests.

    The food was meh I got the prime NY strip it was easily the best cut of steak I've ever had but it was bland and has no seasoning, my waiter was the absolute best he was attentive to my and my girlfriend and was very helpful and energetic over all the whole experience was okay

    My husband and I arrived a little early for our 5:15PM reservation. We walked past the main dining room that was basically empty and we were seated right next to the kitchen where the servers gathered and picked up their food. I questioned if we were “profiled” for our attire when the next table to be seated was a group with children - ha! ha! It was our anniversary and no one asked if we were there for a special occasion. Typically, for our anniversary, we go to Ruth Chris but decided to try The Barn this year. My husband and I enjoyed our drinks but they were slow to arrive. The rolls were delicious and the house salad needed dressing on the side! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the walleye he ordered. I ordered the filet and struggled to find where to cut the meat because it was not tender making it difficult to cut. We were on our way home, when my husband asked if I thought the meal was worth $200+ and my response was absolutely not!!

    First time at the barn. Nice atmosphere but it was loud in the bar area on a Monday night. My impression is that the raw oysters were not fresh, like they had been in the frig for several days. My wife has the 8oz filet. She liked it but nothing special. I ordered the aged KS strip steak. No flavor at all and tough. Orders it rare but was served closer to med rare . Our waiter said that their steaks were the top 5% in the country. I buy better steaks at Costco. Mud pie dessert was good. There was nothing about the experience that would make me come back again. Waiter was nice but needs more experience.

    The place is beautifully decorated for Christmas, We were one of the first to be seated after they opened at 4, So the noise was not a problem but by the time we were leaving it was noisy. I always order ribs if it is on the menu, so I ordered ribs. They were by far the worst ribs I have ever had. I couldn't even eat them they were so bad. My loaded baked potato was a small potato with a gob of melted cheese on top. My husbands meal was very good. He ordered the Walleye. My water didn't get refilled. The waiter ask if we would like bread. We said yes. She brought 2 tiny rolls. They were very good with the maple butter. The onion rings we got before dinner were good. I will not be going back. The price I paid for a meal I could not eat was not satisfactory.
