Nos dijeron que si tardabamos en llegar mas de 15 minutos, nuestra mesa se la darian a otro, pero luego alli nos hicieron esperar 20 minutos. No nos avisaron de que la comida era picante.

This is not the first time I have been to Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch. Previously it has been 5 stars and I genuinely think it was just a bad day but it wasn't great at all. My table was served by a man called Steve, he came over to take our drinks orders only every other time it was someone else walking by who noticed we had not been served. I came with a 50% off Mondays and Tuesdays which was said at the beginning of the meal and I was told that I would have it replaced as it had changed to Sundays and Mondays. We were there on a Tuesday which was a little upsetting but there was no apology. They took my keyring to replace it and after an hour no one had come back to let me know where MY keyring had gone. When I approached Steve he said it may be in the bin and they didn't have anymore key chains and walked off so a friend went to the lady (Natalie who was lovely) to ask for it back and she gave it back. I'm unsure of why he seemed so rude but when we asked for the bill he came over with it and asked before handing us the receipt if we wanted to split it and because of his rudeness I said that I didn't want to pay his service charge. He said fine (again rude) took the money and walked off. I have been blues so many times and loved the staff but this was just not it in terms of service. The food was okay but the salmon main dish had no flavour at all, I think it's a new dish. Cocktails always good but I don't think I'll be back for a while.

I messed up the booking, but they were so accommodating and found me a slightly bigger table to fit us all round. Service was speedy, but they didn’t rush us either Daisy was really knowledgeable about the venue as one of the party wanted a pear old fashioned, but it’s something that’s dropped off the menu now, but she could talk about other options Will definitely be back!

I booked the table for Father’s Day but forgot to mention that I had a tiny baby in a buggy. The staff were friendly and got us a different table super quick. We asked for donuts for desert but with some candles as it was a birthday too. They didn’t have candles so gave us the donuts for free. Amazing service, amazing food.

The service is always great but at this time it wasn’t. The waiter wouldn’t come to our table unless we asked, so the order took quite a long time to be taken and the empty plates were there for a long time, we had to ask for the deserts and coffee without being given the menu. Also, we ordered a lot of food and asked for a take away box, but the waiter took half of the food away before we even got the box that has being asked directly to him.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food. Great cocktails and just £6 all Wednesday. There was a band on which I wasn't expecting. Sometimes live music can be too loud but it was just right where we were sitting and it added to the already great atmosphere. The only minor feedback would be the food menu options could have been broader.
