   Having eaten at Capital Grille several times, we were extremely disappointed with the service. Normally, we have received excellent service, but this time service was very slow from beginning to end. Waited a long time to get our initial drink order, to ordering our food, to getting our plates removed at end. The server even apologized at one point saying he had to serve several tables. Server was nice, but seemed overwhelmed. We were entertaining guests and were very embarrassed by lack of attention. Food was fine, just slow to even take our order, wait for our drinks to start. From start to finish, we were there for 3 hours, which should have not been more than 2 hours normally. Our guests own a very high end restaurant and are used to fine dining which is why we chose to entertain them at Capital Grille, knowing it is normally excellent. This was not a good experience for all of us.

   The overall experience was very good because of our outstanding service from Frank our waiter. He explained all the food items we were interested in, impeccably dressed and attentive. The smaller room we were seated in had 4 tables. We were seated in the last table by a door, so that’s what I looked at the whole evening. Behind my chair was a butlers table where there was quite a bit of traffic and noise. There was another table of 4 men seated in that room with us who were very loud , considering the other three tables including ours were filled with couples, in was a bit distracting. I was very pleased with the complimentary birthday champagne and dessert that was offered to us. For future consideration please keep one room for patrons that enjoy a quiet evening and possibly have Frank aware He’s the man!

   Regardless of how you feel about "nationwide chains" of restaurants, especially steak houses, Capital Grill in Naples is undeniably the best choice for quality red meat in this market. We have visited substantially all of the mid/upper level restaurants who offer steak in this area, nice and casual, expensive and not, approachable and exclusive; there's no better steak in this area. And, they pair that great offering with a broad range of other types of dishes and cuisine which is always deliciously served. Service is what you would expect: very good, from the front valet through the end of night.

   It really does not matter what state you are in… you can always go to Capital Grille and be sure to enjoy a great experience from the greeting at the front door through the personnel waiting on you. Tonight we were fortunate to have Mark as our server again. He makes the evening special each and every visit. Naples you guys rock!

    Impeccable service. Diverse menu. Elegant surroundings. I have never been disappointed by any aspect of this establishment. Over the last decade, we have celebrated many special occasions and it’s always consistent.
