Our pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and an ‘Olde Worlde’ feel. Our award winning public house has a reputation for quality food.

Jacque and the team at The Fountain Inn welcome you to our friendly establishment, where we try to serve good quality fayre at a reasonable price with a focus on cleanliness, safety and old fashioned values in service and training.

Our full timers are Terry-Anne, Nick, Laura, Sammie and Annie and they are all here to ensure you enjoy your experience with us.

Our Office Manager is Shannon and if there is any information you require she will be glad to help in any way she can.

Craig is our head chef with a wealth of experience and ideas, ably assisted by Kyle.

    The minimum numbers required for a Skittles evening is 30 people, there is an absolute maximum of 42 people. Room hire and main courses are included with the price per person. We require confirmation of numbers and all food choices three - four days prior to your evening, along with a deposit of one hundred pounds to secure your booking.

    Lovely place for a meal out, very traditional setting and the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for you. The meals are absolutely delicious and very large, being rich food I couldn't finish mine which is extremely unusual. It's not the cheapest restaurant to eat at but the food quality is reflected in the price. Very high quality. If I had to criticise anything I would say where we were sat wasn't ideal. We were opposite another couple but one person from each party were facing one another so was a little awkward at first. There's only one sitting per evening as far as I'm aware so book early or you won't get a table. Will definitely go again at some point.

    The food was great as was the service and atmosphere. Garlic Prawns, the Pork Belly and creme brulee were lovely. Service friendly, wine very nice thank you!

    If you're looking for a cosy, beautiful, warm venue, for a first class, delicious, outstanding meal, with attentive, helpful, smiling staff, at incredible value.....just book a table here. Trust me, you'll be so glad you did. 5 stars frankly aren't enough to rate our experience there. Well done to all the team at The Fountain Clent, and thank you for a wonderful Anniversary meal.

    Came in December and said we must come here more often, so we did and it was fabulous, fantastic service and amazing food!

    Good varied menu, attractive presentation, selection of steamed vegetables, chips/ the most delicious Dauphinoise potatoes,(the best I've ever tasted). Good service.The Fountain is set in picturesque Clent,a place you always return to.
