The Ginger Man opened in Greenwich in August of 2002 and instantly became one of the area’s most popular restaurants. Known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, the Ginger Man is a favorite among Greenwich locals and neighboring communities. Whether you are looking for a quick burger (maybe the best burger anywhere!), sandwich, or salad with friends or an intimate dinner at a table by the fireplace, The Ginger Man offers you a unique dining experience.

The Ginger Man’s menu accommodates people of all ages with everything from grilled cheese to entrée-sized salads and two to three fish selections daily. The restaurant still uses a real butcher from the New York City marketplace to hand pick its steaks and blend that special mix for its famous burgers.

The Ginger Man features 23 taps, 80+ bottles and a well chosen wine list from small and large Vineyards around the world. The Ginger Man’s burgers and beers were voted “best burger” and “best beer selection.”

I have been a very constant patron since the ginger man opened many many years ago… I’ve spent a lot of time at the ginger man. I had a 12 noon reservation and arrived at 11:45. Staff came to the door and told me I can’t come in. Would have to wait out in the rain until 12 noon exactly. I’ve never had that happen at a restaurant. Was very taken back. Otherwise, the lunch was fine

Read previous reviews and decided to give it a try. Met a friend who drove up from NJ. The table was perfect, the atmosphere was cozy and the menu was fun and looked delicious. At first, I was nervous when we walked in because it was quite busy and it felt a little loud but when we sat down, there was no noise issue whatsoever. We both ordered the turkey burgers and were not disappointed. They were spectacular! The service was wonderful and I would definitely come back here.

A Greenich institution this “high end” pub is always buzzing with tasty food and a very large menu of liquor and beer. Everyone from hedge fundies to families can be found.
