We are regular diners here. We invited family to join as a table of 4. Overall the food was excellent with the exception of the seabass fillets being overcooked on two attempts as well as the sides of leaks were over salted. This is an exception as we have always had a lovely meal. They of course recognised the issue and deducted the food accordingly. Service was superb as always. Look forward to returning soon!

I ordered roast chicken, it was reheated, dry, flavourless and bloody inside. Yorkshire was burnt, roast potatoes raw inside and veg was undercooked. Save your money and go elsewhere! Service was not friendly apart from one waitress. We ordered sticky toffee pudding thinking this should be a safer bet, could not have been more wrong! Small and dry!

We were in the area for one night having been to Legoland that day. Staff were fabulous, engaged with our children and made fuss of my son on his 7th birthday. Couldn’t do enough, timings between courses was great and comprehensive knowledge of the menu and on top of drinks etc. Thank you, the service and food was the icing on the cake for a fabulous day for our family and our memories

We received a very warm welcome. Food was delicious, hot anda very good variety of dishes on the menu. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Lovely pub. We would definitely be regulars if we lived closer. It was the service that made our experience extra special, especially as they knew we were not going to be back again anytime soon as we live so far away. We even got a discount as we were staying at a B&B over the road. Thank you very much for a lovely evening
