Wine and dine in the rustic elegance of our cabin or outside on our patio. Our talented crew are dedicated to feeding the hungry people of Davis and the surrounding communities, recently receiving a Zagat Rating for food of 27, and voted Best Restaurant in Davis by the readers of Sacramento Magazine. We have also been called by Sunset Magazine has also called us quintessential Davis dining experience. Our seasonal menu has something new weekly to freshen the compact yet diversified selections, specializing in sustainable fresh fish, natural meats, local seasonal produce and house made desserts. Our reasonably priced, exclusively California wine list has something for every palate. MONDAVI VISITORS: We are just five short minutes away. Be sure to check early in the week for reservations. For an 8:00PM Curtain 6:00PM is the latest suggested comfortable reservation time We do not cater.

For groups of five or more 72-hours. If reservation cancels within the specified time or no-shows a charge of $65.00 per person will be charged to the credit card on file.                         Dinner before a Mondavi Center event. Staff are super nice-professional-accommodating. The food is superb. We had crab cakes-moist, deliciously flavorful; Asian Pear salad; lamb chops (juicy, tender, seasoned to perfection, duck, salmon and scallops. We were a party of 4. We were treated extremely well!

                        What a lovely little hidden gem! My sister-in-law and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner before a jazz concert at the Mondavi Center. She had the king salmon, and I had the lamb. Both dishes were exceptional. Tiffany is a fabulous server and gave excellent insights about the menu and wine list. Highly recommend!

                        We ate in the outside patio, and it was comfortable even in the chilly, windy weather outside. Service was excellent. One of us had the scallops -- 10/10!, the other the duck breast, 6/10. A great place to celebrate special occasions (birthday in our case).

                        We sat outside on a cold evening. The heaters and wind breaks they've set up kept it very comfortable. The food was delicious. It's fairly noisy inside and outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience.
